It was funny to hear what Zelensky said in Dubrovnik this week "the situation on the battlefield is giving opportunitities to achieve peace no later than 2025" or something like that. Gotta agree with him, with this pace of the Russians they will likely achieve victory no later than 2025 and peace will be.

He claimed that ukraine can achieve total victory by end of 2025 if nato give him more money and equipment. He's like Hitler at the complete end of ww2. he's completely delusional now, using ghost armies, counts pretty much every captured structure as settlement while claiming entire cities lost to Russia are of no significance. Gain of 1sq knowledge I victory even if ukraf lost 100sq km in other section of the front.

Ukraine's 'Victory Plan' looking desperate. More than 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers have deserted or abandoned their units since the beginning of 2024, according to local judicial reports. Kyiv is struggling to recruit men as its army has been decimated and exhausted after more than two years of conflict, compounded by the daily advances of Russian troops on the eastern front. While desertions have occurred since the conflict began in February 2022, the number has skyrocketed over the past two years, rising from 3,342 in 2022 to more than 15,000 two years later, according to data collected by the judiciary. According to journalist Volodymyr Boiko, who serves in the 101st Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the real number of deserters may be as high as 150,000-ten times the official figure. "Deserters are not being pursued-which has led to the problem building up over the past two and a half years. Now the situation is at a deadlock. It is impossible to bring such a large number of deserters to justice," he wrote on Facebook.

As important as the current russian push in the Kursk Oblast is, I'm still most interested in the Collapse of the Ukrainian Defenses in the Kupiansk and Lyman Directions, the Pishchane Breakthrough really paved the Way for changing the tactical and likely the strategic Situation in that Sector since what has amounted so far to 2 years, if the Russians manage to push the ukrainians back again beyond the administrative Borders of the Luhansk Oblast then this will open the Flood Gates for an assault on Lyman, which if captured, would mean the cancelling of a major success achieved by the ukrainians in their 2022 Kharkiv offensive, and the fall of kupiansk would also severely hurt as it was a major success for the ukrainians to capture it too. I don't think the Russians can really return back to Izium or Balaklia any time soon at their current Pace of Advance though, but it's certainly interesting to see the frontline starting to shift majorly in areas other than the Donbass since ukraine's kharkiv and kherson offensives.

These analyses delivered over up-to-date maps of the conflict are so very helpful, and this one is no different. Thank you, Weeb Union. Goodness, that's a lot of Ukrainian presence in what appears to be completely uncontested territory. It really is such a shame thee ordinary fighting men and women, and civilians, of course, have to go through all of this due solely to the corruption of people ordinary people like me will probably never even see. We know their names and the positions they hold at their respective companies, but we only ever see their puppets standing behind podia unapologetically lying on the behalf of their puppeteers. It's so important for us to hold the fact that a peace was possible two years ago, one that would've left Ukraine with a whole lot more territory than it has now and a much larger population, particularly of fighting-age men. And all of us regular people with our eyes open, just sitting here watching in disbelief as it goes on and on, waiting for a new age presided over by cooler heads. Might it be possible that our gazing at these maps while listening to this news might become unnecessary within the next 12 months? It feels possible. I hope it'll come to pass. Don't those of us without stakes in the conflict all hope for that? Seems to me that there are a lot of us. I'll bet that if somehow we were all to somehow get together and plan it, we could have all the warmongers locked in a fairly large school hall by this time two weeks from now. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone or anything. Just keep them locked in there without their cell phones long enough for the assembly lines and armies they push about like pawns to put their hands in their pockets and take that long holiday they all need to take in order to come to grips with the terrible role they've been made to play in these awful institutions for so long. After that, we can let the stinkers out of the hall, give them back their phones and suggest that they, too, go on a long holiday somewhere, preferably for the remainder of their days on Earth. Ahhhhh. An old fool can dream.

Kimchi Pancakes Recipe Ingredients (Makes about 4 pancakes) 1 cup kimchi, chopped (plus 2-3 tbsp of kimchi juice) 1/2 small onion, thinly sliced 1/2 cup flour (all-purpose) 1/4 cup rice flour (optional, for extra crispiness) 1/2 tsp sugar (optional, to balance kimchi’s tang) 1/2 tsp salt (adjust based on kimchi’s saltiness) 1/2 cup cold water 1 egg (optional, for extra richness) 2 green onions, chopped Vegetable oil (for frying) Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish) Soy sauce or dipping sauce (optional) Instructions Prepare the Batter: In a medium bowl, mix the flour, rice flour (if using), sugar, and salt. Add the cold water and stir until smooth. If using an egg, beat it in at this stage. Mix in the chopped kimchi and kimchi juice. The batter should be the consistency of pancake batter-thick but pourable. Adjust with more water or flour if needed. Fold in the thinly sliced onion and chopped green onions. Fry the Pancakes: Heat about 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. You want the oil hot but not smoking. Pour a portion of the batter into the pan (around 1/4 of the mixture per pancake), spreading it out thinly with a spoon or spatula to make it flat and even. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy. If you want a crisper pancake, use more oil and keep the heat at medium-high. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more oil as needed. Serve: Once crispy and cooked through, remove the pancakes from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired. Serve with soy sauce, vinegar, or your favorite dipping sauce on the side. Tips: You can add other ingredients like seafood (shrimp or squid), pork slices, or even tofu for more variety. If you prefer thicker pancakes, you can use less water, but thin pancakes tend to be crispier. Adjust the spice level by adding a bit of gochujang (Korean chili paste) or gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) to the batter if you want more heat. Enjoy your crispy, flavorful Kimchi Pancakes!

You can always tell the direction the war has taken by the number of Ukraine cheerleaders present at any given time and what they are posting. It is like the perfect barometer. We only see the majority once a year at the start of their yearly offensive to nowhere and then they are gone as quickly and quietly as the came. The ones who remain have to use the same "3 day war" propaganda trope or rehash events from two years ago to cope with the disintegration of the front. 😂

I understand why Web Union counts square kilometers, it's instructive, but personally I think it's irrelevant in maneuver warfare because areas change hands quickly as we can see in the Kursk offensive example where in three months of maneuvers we saw areas count as occupied even if soldiers from either side do not step on it. Basically, whoever controls the road or settlement controls the area around it.

@@apostolosderakis9840 Are you talking about Kursk? There haven't been any cauldrons in Kursk Oblast yet. They capture POWs there every single day. Watch some of the Indian news channels and they show footage. As far as the fighting there goes the AFU just counterattacked in the same area several days ago. Do you think they did that without troops? They haven't packed up and gone home. If you watch the footage on the ground they are spread out all over the pocket in small teams until they make an attack. This whole conflict is being fought at the company level for the most part unless it is a big offensive. No one dares to mass troops due to ISR strike capabilities having the means to wipe out hundreds of men in one strike.

They echo the discussion being held in the media. The media is mum of late because they don't have anything good to say and there isn't a heavy push for aid being driven home like during those other points. In a month or two the next aid package will be kicking off and the woe is me stories about being low in equipment and munitions will begin to replay itself with worsening figures. So far even the Czech ammo initiative is struggling to reach 500,000 shells before the end of the year and even David Axe is saying they don't have enough equipment for the new units being trained in the west. What equipment they have is from the 60s and 70s and obsolete. So the situation continues to deteriorate

You really need to understand the meaning of collapse in war terms. You may then realise that Ukrainian defences and forces are collapsing The German Army in the East did not just suddenly get destroyed. It collapsed in slowly . Beginning in December 1941 at the outskirts of Moscow . Again at Stalingrad, then at Kursk , At Leningrad, at Minsk , at seelow and all the way to Berlin

No, it was 45 square kilometers yesterday according to Web. Others have more gains in several other areas that bring the total in at a figure 20 square kilometers or more higher than that for JUST YESTERDAY. That brings the total of liberated Russian land to somewhere around 450 square kilometers so far. Including 250 in a two day period when their counter offensive began several weeks ago.

@@nedialkosimonov3893 1000 km² is actually not a "normal" city, but a metropolis, at least by European standards (Chinese administrative structures and terminology is another matter). 1050 km² or so was the territory of Moscow before the last expansion (after which it became about 2500 km²), the population being about 12-13 million both before and after the expansion. There are only two other cities in Europe with a comparable territory: Rome (close to 1300 km², population of about 2.5 million) and London (over 1500 km², population approaching 9 million). Berlin (about 900 km², population: about 3.5 million) is smaller. Of course, there are much smaller cities by territory, but with a comparable density of population, like Paris, Barcelona or Milan.
