As I found, "50k casualties" was reported by Russian ВВС (it is not Russian source) and Меdiаzоnе (was recognized as Foreign agent and blocked in Russia, all staff work in Lithuania and Georgia, so it is not russian for a few (!) years). Then it was reposted by Radio Liberty, European Security & Defence, Al Jazeera, Voice of America, The Independend, etc. So @VologdaMapping be more accurate please

Russia is making significant gains and they haven't launch their major offensive yet and unlike Ukraine who was given a lot of information about when and where they would attack, we don't know anything about when and where Russia will launch their major offensive, the walls are closing in on Zelenskyy and Ukraine. The whole of the Donbas will likely fall this year and in 2025 Russia will lanch the final fatal offensive on the rest of Ukraine and force a unconditional surrender unless Zelenskyy is deposed before that which is possible with current political climate especially in the military.

@@erwinner8929 its probably not gonna be a loss but definitely a stalemate, Russia even with Ukraine having nearly all aid from the US cutoff for the past few months and running completely dry on Artillery shells for their Western Howitzers in some areas has still mostly kept things at status quo, and occupying Ukraine is going to be a nightmare for Russia if they actually do manage to push past Donbas as the population there is quite hostile + every moderately sized city is going to be its own Grozny

@@ohnoes3084 Russia is bigger, has larger population, bigger economy and many other aspects, while Ukraine is losing support and their aid is being cut off and even now they are being pushed out, and while Ukraine relies on the aid from west, Russia relies on itself, so Russia will win, either decisevely which would mean a puppet regime installed in Ukraine and new Ukraine recognizing the Russian annexations, or less decisive victory, where Russia takes annexed territories, Ukraine does not join NATO and does not recognize Russian annexations. Basically, Ukraine can not keep up with production of weapons to fight Russia as quick as Russia can to fight with Ukraine.

Our societies in the west are weak we believe men can be women and as soon as a conflict breaks out massive protests will put huge amounts of pressure on NATO countries let alone actually defending themselves in a war with little to 0 military equipment and factories to produce such equipment. If the roles were reversed there is no way the USA would allow Mexico form a military alliance with Russia or China,we would invade.
