Don't put Penix in, it be stupid. It's incredibly low odds that he comes in to save the season, and it's unfair to him to clean up Cousins mess, it's difficult for any QB to step in late season to win a bunch of must win games. It's also nearly a surefire way to create a QB controversy, if Penix doesn't perform like Mahomes or performs well but the team still loses, then there will be calls for Cousins to replace Penix next season the microsecond Penix hits a rough patch (oh Kirk was still recovering from his injury and Penix didn't get us into the playoffs...). No let captain Kirk go down with his sinking ship of a season and then let Penix captain his own ship next season with no one calling for Cousins every time Penix throws an INT.

I think the NFL loves the Lions way too much. The Chiefs have played much harder teams and have the same record as the Lions. Chiefs should be 1 or 2 then the Eagles at 3. This ranking is nuts that a Superbowl winning team is not number 1 with the same record as the Lions WTF.

The Lions have beaten teams in a much more convincing fashion throughout the season while being in a stronger division , and continue to do so even with a banged up defense. Statistically, the Lions have also have outperformed the Chiefs, especially when it comes to QB play.
