I remember having a 1 hour conversation with my 70 year old substitute teacher who is also into politics, we were talking about American funding of Ukraine, Japan’s population decline, etc, and when we were talking about Israel, he said how the Jews could’ve chosen so many better places to make a country than the area of their homeland because of how they will always have to fight a growing number of muslims for the rest of their history Edit: some of the replies under me barely understood what my 70 year old substitute teacher was saying 😅

I was a supporter of Israel. But for me the things go beyond acceptable with Rafah invasion. Israel should agree on ceasefire. But HAMAS should surrender. They have lost completely and they should admit it instead of using civilians as living shields.

The rest - water, money, food, even people - is coming in and out all the time. Gazans went to work in Israel before the war. Israel gave 20% of Gaza's water for free and Hamas got the other 80% on their own from other countries.
