Week 2 ~ HRT menopause diary

When leaving my toxic ex - I could barely hold a mug in my hand. My knees hurt-got bloodwork and had very low progesterone (was only early 30s). I went on compound hrt and within 2 weeks I was back to normal - it’s amazing how much hormones do! Now I’m 46- now period for 3 months. Hot flashes and night sweats from hell and 10 lbs from nothing. Got bloodwork and my estrodial is under 5 lol - had a mammogram today and back to Gyno for hrt tomorrow Ty for these videos - hope you’re doing great!

Just started HRT 10 days ago, and like you, day 7, I felt an obvious positive change and just described it as you did to a friend.

What dose of hrt are you taking? How much estrogen? Testosterone?

gone backwards a bit, but will cover this in Week 3.

I'm so glad the HRT seems to be helping. I wonder if you are sleeping better and that is helping with mood generally?

Possibly, but my sleep wasn't terrible before starting the HRT. Time will tell if this is the right regime for me. Now into the progesterone 12 day cycle, which I have been dreading, so week 3 diary will be interesting.
