I also become rather emotional around the holidays, so you're not alone in that! It can be a time of great happiness and a time of great sadness, and that's one of the reasons it's so important to take time to be grateful like you did. I hope you had a restful holiday season!

What brings me peace and yes, maybe some positive energy is knitting at night, watching the lights of my Christmas tree and watching You Tube vlogmas. Also like to finish knit gifts for the next year: Christmas 2024! I love giving people my knitted gifts like mittens, scarves and hats. I also love giving them to myself!

Thank you for making lovely content this year! I wish you and your loved ones the best for 2024! Also a great tip to store patterns on a book app. I don't have a tablet, but I store patterns on my ereader, it works great!

Happy New Year Marlene and thank you so much for your authentic and beautiful Vlogmas. I find myself ignoring the news and just watching knitting podcasts, Christmas movies and comedies. I know that this sounds a bit self-absorbed, but I just get so stressed if I have to think about what is happening in the world today. The knitting community and podcasts like yours are a little oasis of kindness and peace. I love your sourdough loaves; very impressive. Keep knitting and podcasting please!

thanks for being here and I totally get the feeling of overwhelm and stress with all that going wrong in the world and even though I very much believe in staying interested and informed I also support the need to snuggle up, knit and turn off our heads and just enjoy. constant worrying isn’t going to help people in need and we can’t help others if we’re not taking care of yourselves first 🧡 happy knitting & a cozy 2024!
