Congratulations on your progress! Keep up the great work. I am on week 4, and the pain and PT are not easy to take, but will try hard.

At the 5 week mark as well. Strength is not a problem. Swelling and flexibility still an issue. I had a 100 degree active bend and 104 degree passive. Just a note, if you have good muscle tone in your leg the flexibility will be more of an issue. Good luck to all.

Maybe I’m being optimistic but after 6 weeks I expect to be fully functional with some pain. Been in pain for a decade while walking so the upside is 100% at least for me. Congrats to all that are being brave with this surgery.

Yes! I feel confident you will be doing great at 6 weeks! Congrats!

I think that’s unrealistic. Now the original pain is completely gone but all the soft tissue and nerve damage still has to heal. 6 months out and I’m 80% back to where I want to be. My surgical knee hurts less than my non surgical knee.

@@claudiocorleone7856 Two weeks out…wouldn’t 6 weeks be wonderful. I’m trying to be thankful just to go in the right direction.

Wow! Going in for surgery in a few weeks. These videos really help those of us that are nervous or having both done. Thank you for the video.

I had both of my knees done at the same time and I can't say that's it's been easy, but it will definitely be worth it when I'm 100% recovered! I'm 17 weeks post-op and constantly surprised at what I can (or can't!) do. : )

@ Thank you for replying. I am 17 days out. I could handle the knee, i think, but the rest of my body is so arthritic and tired. I thought I was doing great but tried to take a ride with husband just to get out and see life happening. I cannot sit with my leg hanging down…the pain became unbearable. Spending so much time on a wheelchair prior to surgery has made this a nightmare because my muscles are so weak. My knee was ready when covid hit, then THREE YEARS to get appointment. I’m just down, but I know that had I been walking prior, this would be a blessing. Walking without pain already is a miracle. Dedicated to getting flexion, only at 105 now. I still watch videos of those that have come through for inspiration. Have other done in 10 weeks. 🫣. Wishing all THE BEST of luck for a great recovery.
