You should check out the Diary of Alicia keys. It's actually a 46 minute video of her narrating how her first songs came about. Also how her first label didn't understand her style of music. She went through a lot to get started. I believe this all was back in 1998. It's pretty interesting to see her first concerts with some of the songs that was played here. ❤
