Same exact boat here. I have 1 box left and am now starting to spread out my shots to every 10 days to help tide me over (Dr. said it’s ok). My pharmacy says it’s not available and they won’t know when they will get it. May also have to switch to Ozempic. I’m just happy there are other options for us diabetics. Good luck to us all!

My parents live in Sarasota! So beautiful! Jennifer thanks for sharing your journey! I am on my week #13 of mounjaro and am loving it, except for the supply issues! I also have type 2 diabetes and it is helping me so much with my blood sugar. I hope we both can stay on it! Have a great week!

Nice video! 2000 mg per day is pretty high for Metformin and probably causing the low blood sugar. You have done great! 😊 Thank you for the videos. Frustrating for sure with the back order… I am waiting for my 15mg here on the west coast.

I'm so sorry to post agian I ment to tell you when you get your mri try to request it be done with contrast ,that was suggested to me and that's how the herniated disk showed up on the mri prior to that they just called it a buldge and come to find out it actually turned out to be pretty large at 13mm anyhow ask your doctor to make sure the order is with contrast, I read a whole article on how many people get misdiagnosed,or underdiagnosed without the contrasting die for the MRI imaging,it really does make a big difference, ok well good luck 👍🏻
I've been on mounjaro since September 2022 lost 90 pounds a1c went from 8.5 to 5.6 now since I can't get mounjaro my Dr put me on ozempic I like mounjaro alot more can't wait to get mounjaro back in stocks

I'm on 10 and have order to go up to 12 and it's out of stock. Mail order won't honor coupon either. Have box of 7.5 left so may have to go back down.

Try taking your shots every 14 days instead of every 7 days. It will help you stretch out your medication until the new supply comes in. I did this and I was able to maintain my results for about two months. Just be very careful about your diet. Reduce your portions and try intermittent fasting a few days a week. You’ve got this!

Thanks. I hadn’t considered extending the injections that far apart, I’ve been doing them on the eighth day vs. seventh. Glad you’ve found success!

I’m still getting my MJ right now 🤞🏼but you can always switch back to Mounjaro when it becomes available to you again.

So true! Luckily, my prescription was fulfilled the day after I posted this video - means I have another 3 months.

Can’t blame you for switching to Ozempic. Eli Lilly’s really dropping the ball on Mounjaro supply. 😢

Supply issues are crazy. I thought they were building a new manufacturing plant in North Carolina. My Dr. could not find 12.5mg which is my maintenance dose. So she ordered 10mg and I got those. I see her next week for check up and will ask her if she can prescribe 2.5mg and then I will inject twice to get 12.5mg. I started in Nov. 2022 and lost 80 pds and then had Mommy makeover Nov. 1rst. (I hate that name- I am 60!) and been maintaining on 12.5mg. I did try 10mg and my hunger came back and it was scary. Anyways, my question is can we get Zepbound for us if we can't get our MJ? Thank you for keeping us informed. It is like having a friend doing it with me. Take care! Robin Jordan

They are actually building two manufacturing plants in North Carolina. One plant has been completed and producing product. The other plant should come online in the first part of 2025. These plants cost billions and take 2-3 years to build.

My insurance for Mounjaro 1) Will not pay for 2 dosages at a time, so no adding 2 shots to make 1 dosage for me. 2) My insurance denied me Zepbound... I did not fight it, but could have because I am still "obese" and qualify for it. My pharmacist goes wayyyy above and beyond to find me Mounjaro. I was on 15mg, now moved down to 12.5 because that is more available (in an unavailable world). When no Mounjaro could be found, I did one month of Ozempic and I swear it was a placebo. That was a painful month. I decided if I can't get my Rx for Mounjaro, I will seriously consider compounded tirzepatide.

Could you do a 90 day mail-in order? Can you also reduce your Metformin to 500 mg/2 times a day? I’ve been on 10mg of mounjaro for 6 months or so. Pretty much have been maintaining weight loss & blood sugars are great. I’ve been following a healthy eating plan since January & want to go of 11:20 f mounjaro. I need to have a right hemithyroidectomy anyway and need to be off medicine for 3 weeks prior to surgery. I’ll also discuss with my primary. I hope you can find a solution to mounjaro:) Take care.

Oh and by the way your glucose numbers seem way to low,you may want to ask your PC doctor to lower your metforman that's what I had to do,and I was taking 2000 mg once a day with my weekly shot of trulicity, then switched to ozempic and now I'm taking 1500 once a day of metformin along with 2mg ozempic once a week, my sugar was dropping like a rock way to many episodes of lows so asked my doctor and we lowered the metformin and I occasionally have a low but very manageable anyhow if my sugar gets in the low 70s or 60s I'll pass out it's horrible since adjusting my metformin to 1500 my glucose #s tend to run from 90 to the 120 to 130s and I was stage 3 ckd and now have those numbers almost down to normal ,over 100lb weight loss and A1c start was around 10,now down to 5.8 so it's really going well ok hope you get some answers about your hip,and hope you get your sugar numbers up to normal unless it doesn't bother you I mean everyone is different alright let ud know, until then take care👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🫶🫶

I agree that a talk with the Endo would be in order about the Metformin. I'm always surprised when people on GLP-1s aren't weaned off of it. It is really bad for the kidneys... ask mine! I wish I had gone off of it a lot sooner. From diabetes and metformin, I have Chronic Kidney Disease, Stage 3. (Not good.) Let us know what the Endo says about the Metformin.
