I am going on my first ever work trip next week for two nights. I’m looking forward to it, but I know that I’m going to have some issues with my social battery - I’m an introvert and autistic - but luckily my boss has my back and has built in some chunks of down time and somewhere to hide if I need.

Re: Backpacks - I’ve got an Everki Flight (they make a ton of bags and backpacks) and I love it. Have had it for 8 years. They aren’t the prettiest bags but they are super functional. Great warranty too.

I so hear you about the need to find a minute for social recharging at an offsite. I worked for a few years at a place where we had to have a roommate for the annual offsite. 😣 Hope the job is going well!
