I went back to the office by choice, I gotta say it helps me shake that funk of being home all day and feeing lazy. I have kids so it also gives me a sterile workplace without interruptions.

Sometimes I wish.. but I don’t miss all the office politics and fake work making it look like I was doing. I’ve got 2 little girls and they’re at the right age where it’s a disaster every time I leave the room 😣 I miss the social side of it though!

that's awesome! Having the option of an office is amazing - especially for a change of scenery and for those who want a quiet place outside of their home to work! For me personally, I live alone, so working from home is not much different from working from an office that is practically empty 😅

hi marsela! if you get the chance to in hawaii, you should definitely visit the beach on the bellows air force base! it's open to the public on weekends, and it's definitely one of the more private and pretty beaches in my opinion

haha recruiter are so harsh at some points. I had one calling my office and told my boss he wants to speak to me about open positions xD my boss was about to kill me haha. lots of fun and a good holiday in hawaii :)

Really like the video and the office setup looks super clean! I swear I was watching a video on using Docker and Kubernetes and this was the next video. I was like this person seems so familiar until I realized that I shadowed someone from the same high school and met you years ago. For privacy reasons I won't go into further detail but I ended up joining the army doing cyber stuff and do some software dev here and there but it's nice to know what the civilian side is gonna be like once I exit the service. I'm glad the KZbin algorithm is doing what it's supposed to. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for watching Jennifer! I feel like starting with Javascript is a pretty good bet! Used a ton across the industry. You're already learning the fundamentals in school I presume, so JS would be good to have in your arsenal!

aw thank you! I'd go for MacBook or PC, probably not an iPad. I've always been an Apple gal - the macOS ecosystem is so much more coder friendly. But PCs are amazing too, lots of options for which brand / customization.

You water your plant with ice? Can you explain why? Im so intrigued lol

hahah sooo the ice melts slowly, watering the plant slowly, plant has more time to absorb all the water you're feeding it, and therefore 1) it reduces the chance of overwatering, and 2) it avoids like a pool of water at the bottom of the pot so it's less messy 😊

Hiii! I m from italy, and I like your video,really interessing. I have a question, i m 24 y old, i started university when i was 19/20 i computer engineering filed(not comp.science). There was a lot of subject lime electronics,telecomunications ecc where i was not interested, and I also had some financial " problem(and I was also bored about accademic enviroment) so i stopped university and I started to work(in a totale different field, gold production like make jewellery ecc "a manual" job, my city is famous for that ). Now I m 24 and I want to start back university, maybe with a differenti mindset, is it too late in your opinion? I also like travellin, i want to discover new country,new people ecc.
