She would probably need to have a bricks and mortar school that would be able to double as the filming studio for online classes, and the bricks and mortar business would help feed the online business and vice versa. Kyuho's mom can be even more successful going this "smaller" route than having the larger baking school. And her positive attitude is the first and best ingredient for her continued success.

Congrats on the new camera! My favorite all around lens would be 24mm as it's wide, but not super wide so it covers a lot of shooting situations, like talking heads but it's also fantastic for wide and semi-close-up b-roll shots. I also love my 70-200mm, which takes beautiful portraits and for those nice zoom in shots with the beautiful background bokeh. 16mm is great, especially since you guys do a lot of vlogging. Kyuho, wishing your mom all the best 🙏🏽

Just a suggestion: Always point the sensor towards the floor when changes lenses. When you point the sensor up dust falls more easily onto the sensor.

@@2hearts1seoul Of course. Another tech /shooting tip that you may know. Wide apertures 2.8-5.6 make the background soft. Small apertures 8-16 or 22 make everything be in focus. Wide apertures will not show the dust as much if you get some on your sensor. And if you want to throw things out of focus in the background in bright light you should get a neutral density filter.These filters will darken the light hitting the lens and then you have to open up the lens and hence things in the background get softer. (Yes. I am a professional photographer and videographer...). I loved that you were both excited by lens

The quality of photography is always great on your channel and the 16mm large aperture lens will really help in low light and night situations. On a crop EF-M sensor maybe a 32mm "normal" view will help prevent distortion indoors from a wide angle. But, of course, your judgment is excellent

Glad you like the Sigma lens! We had a brief exchange under your last video about them, and I think you'll like this one a lot. If you find that it's too shaky because it's not stabilized, I would also recommend the Canon ef-m 11-22 mm lens. It's much slower (I think it's f.4 at 11mm) so it wouldn't be a good choice in dark environments, but during the day it's fast enough and has two big benefits: it's stabilized and it's noticably wider than your 16mm. Which means you could even add digital in-camera stabilization and get very smooth footage at a still super wide angle. That's the crux with lenses: you'll need many different ones for different scenarios and they're all expensive 🥲 (sadly I can't share any footage from the lens since I've only ever used it for work).

Hello! We’re loving the Sigma 16mm so far :) It’s definitely a huge adjustment using a camera a larger lens, as we’re so used to our light and not-at-all-shaky iPhones 😅 We’ll still be using our iPhones too for vlogging and walking around, but it’s nice to finally have a camera for when we want to get more cinematic looking shots. We’ve read a lot about that canon lens as well! We like that one and sigma’s 30mm (I believe?) lens. So many needed, but so expensive 🥲

I honestly only bring this lens when I travel and its so perfect for photography/videography! mirrorless cameras are very fun to use, you’ll enjoy it. the lens you’ve picked is really good and suits your style of filming since it’s very wide, the f1.4 aperture will give a beautiful cinematic depth of field. the less the aperture the better so you went with a great option :) they’re pricey but definitely worth it and will stay with you for a long time

Amazing choice with the Sigma lens! I use Fujifilm now for all my photography (and they don't have sigma option sadly) but for my old Canon camera and my Panasonic GH5S for filming, I use sigma lenses. 35mm & 50mm are my favourite but I think 16mm will be awesome for your vlog adventures. I do recommend looking into the 50mm if you want to do more closeups/fun things. Please send the cool weather to Ontario, Canada LOL it's been a heatwave here for the last month haha

Tim Hortons in the UK is pretty much in the same ballpark as Starbucks and Krispy Kremes. The one in my city has very mixed reviews. Has your Mom considered recording some online classes, there is a large paid market for cooking classes.

I'm so sorry about her business, but luckily there are a lot of ways she could try and start up classes in a different business style so I wish her the best in however she tries to go about it. Also, I have the same issue with poppy seeds. They arent a common seed for pastries here, so even specialty baking shops dont always have them. I've only seen 2 in Tokyo that carried them.
