Week in the Life 2024 // Prep & Set Up

With week in the life 2024 right around the corner, I am taking the time to set up my album and develop a documenting plan so that I will be able to succeed in this project.

For 2024, I am using a 10x8 album from Ali Edwards and the 2024 WITL collection from Ali Edwards. I am using a mixture of inside and outside of the page protectors and have some ideas to play with fun products. My main focus this year, however, is what I call a "scavenger hunt" where I am looking for specific things each day to document.

This organization example is so helpful! I am just starting out and have thousands of photos from my kids being born to age 28 and have no idea how to organize albums with various ages and occasions but I at least know I want to do pocket style scrapping for all of them…

That is a great starting point! This video was for the specific project of week in the life, but that’s a great idea, I will try to share a video about how I tackle my longer albums overall like my daughter’s album. In the meantime, I have shared other project planning videos as well. Good luck tackling your kids projects it sounds like a lot of fun!!

Yep! We had a little snow too. I want it to be gone so I can get my yard ready for spring, but also it might make for good week in the life stories!

I love this set up. I am doing the 6 by 8 but I did follow something similar to yours and adapted your scavenger hunt a little bit. Great idea to cut the days of the week off the tops of those 2 by 4 cards. I did that and then will use the bottom square back with the corresponding color's day. Did that even make sense???

Yes! That’s a great way to use the extra piece. I thought about incorporating them, but I felt like I had enough in there already. But maybe I will in the end. Enjoy your WITL!! ❤️
