Hi Leah! I just wanted to let you know how much of an inspiration you are to me and I am so thankful I found your channel. I am a new nurse and as much as I told myself I did not want to do Med/Surg, that is where I am starting. I am hiring into a hospital this week and have been out of school for a year and this is my first position. Everything you talk about in your videos speaks directly to me and your kind and positive nature is so inspiring. I want to be just like you as a nurse and it is so refreshing to know that there ARE amazing nurses out there that actually care. I had bad experiences in clinical and seeing how some of the nurses acted put a bad taste in my mouth. Also, I admire the fact that you showed yourself getting on your knees and praying and asking God for help. I worry I am going to mess up and all sorts of things, but knowing that with God all things are possible. I hope you continue to post videos...I am watching yours one by one. Thank you for being your authentic self and showing other nurses what a true nurse should look/be like. Take care! 💖

A CNA that actually does their job and does it well is PRICELESS!! Kudos to her! Your gesture of gratefulness was awesome! Thank you for sharing your experiences. I am currently only doing outpatient PRN and you ALMOST make me want to go back to acute care...almost😎

I have been away from bedside nursing for over 7 years (outside of clinical instruction of nurses); however, I feel that I would need suggestions from those who are working bedside on how to prepare for re-entry. Since going PRN, I have seen a lot of areas that are more open to PRN staffing, yet I haven't done acute bedside nursing in years and when I did leave the acute setting, I was working Endoscopy and a little of Lithotripsy. Can you do a segment on re-entry into Med-Surg/acute setting? Are there areas that nurses returning to acute care need to focus on? As always I enjoy your videos! I learn something from each one.
