Week 24 of IRONMAN 70.3 started off a bit rough as I started to struggle to keep the motivation up. With 7 weeks until race day, I talk about whether this online training app is working for me and if it’s worth it, as well as trying to find ways to perfect my nutrition plan (and storage). Consistency yep! and the 4th discipline nutrition/hydration :) If your watch has the option to alerts during bike/run, like reminder every x mins, you might want to set one for during ride to prompt you to remember to eat and/or drink. You know your effort/conditions/comfort level etc on the rides, but don't forget there are cutoff times for each leg, as well as overall for pacing. The soft/hard cutoffs should be in the athlete guide.

Thanks for sharing the nutritional information. You mentioned you were using ‘other sources’ instead of MOTTIV to plan your nutrition so would be grateful if you can share where you get the info/how you know how much salt/carbs etc you know to use. Finding the content so useful so Thank You!!

Yay glad to hear you're finding it useful! I mentioned in my previous video about prepping my nutrition (~8:29) where I'm using Precision Hydration to find out how much carbs & sodium I need - hope that helps! 😊

You are doing great! I just finished the 70.3 in Galveston a coupl3 weeks ago and used Mottiv as well. Closer to the end of training I was feeling quite tired and was glad for the load to lighten toward the race day. I had a lot of workouts very early on (dec-jan) that I missed due to the flu/ bronchitis for an extended time and still managed to get back to it though I had to go easy for the first week or so back. I have done the "move the workout and now it's gone" too 😂
