Every time I watch you cook, I think about when your children become teenagers. You will have to cook at least 3 times the amount of food you cook now! Teenagers are always hungry! And they can eat an entire chicken sometimes. My son would fix tuna casserole and eat the whole thing by himself! It is made with one pound of noodles, and he could and still can (he's 43 now and in very good shape, he works out) eat the whole thing! You will be preparing A LOT of food at every meal. God bless you and your family.

I find boys eat so much more than girls, we have our own children but my close family all share child care, because I mostly work from home and still teach but unfortunately not so much (disability issues not lack of opportunities) so I’m home most of the time and in school holidays, my partner teaches too, we can have 12 children here…the boys in particular, none are teens yet, damn they can eat. My partner is 6”9, the dad of some of the others, he’s ‘cousin in law’ he’s 6”4, the other dad is a little’un 5”9. Half of the children exercise a lot and are into sports, the others have different interests. But because they’re pretty much fed good food with plenty fresh fruit & vegetables none are overweight. They do have some junk food, it’s unrealistic not to & we believe if you make something completely out of bounds children want it more, they’re more likely to go spend pocket money buying junk and sweets once they can go out alone, making themselves sick. Tonight we packed up 2800grams, 6lb ish of sweets for Halloween, I know a few went in their mouths & they each had a small pack but you’re only a child once. They have a wide range of food too, 2 of them their favourite food is sushi…the raw fish kind 🤢 they love to try new food from around the world and often produce a recipe, method and link they found online. Oh, I forgot to add in the school holidays friends will come too so …Sheeesh…we go through a lot of food! Now I’m scared thinking about them being teenagers, I’ll be like Cinderella in the kitchen peeling vegetables, 55kb sacks of potatoes 😂 they can all fend for themselves too, except the little ones. So if I’m having a bad pain day they will go cook, I’m there in the kitchen sat supervising of course. But plates of food appear like magic, this morning my partner was away on a school trip, a 2 day, he came home Saturday evening, so it was just me and a lot of pain. Sour dough toast with avocado, poached & scrambled eggs with freshly cracked black pepper and sea salt appeared followed by my rice cakes and banana, I’m allergic to the ordinary breakfast and shhhh but the children think I’m allergic to avocado…I just can’t stand the texture 😂 or the autistic part of me can’t Have a great day! Still laughing about the pound of pasta 😂 bet he complains he’s hungry 30 minutes later too 😂

I forgot to add, it can’t just be ordinary black pepper and salt, they will have it if there isn’t anything else though 😂 proper foodies! 😂

Thank you, Touko. You just motivated me to cut up all old vegetables from the refrigerator, cut up tofu and marinate in teriyaki sauce overnight. This way I'll have a very healthy meal for the next 2 days! Love your vlog.

Family across the world is universal! “Don’t fight, eat!” “Look at the time! Let’s go!” “If you don’t eat now you won’t get any!” And the eternal mothers “sigh” 😂 Regardless of country, culture or even number of children it’s the same conversation every morning!
You are simply amazing! I also love that kids play with cards, puzzles and read books

You put so much thought into making healthy delicious meals for your children, I admire you thought.
You are such a busy mom and the food you cook always looks very good. Your children really appreciate you cooking for them which is so nice. Warm Greetings from the USA 🥰
You really are a super MUM ❤ you work so hard from early morning to late at night , a packed lunch in Australia is so different to Japan ,here it's usually a sandwich, apple, juice and a packet of chips and water of course ,but in Japan I see it's like a meal you eat at home for dinner 🙂 your cooking skills are AMAZING you certainly are a great cook 😊 thank you for making another great video for us all to enjoy 💙💙💙💙🇦🇺
I am so happy to watch these videos. You have a beautiful family and you take care of it sooooo well. The cooking is also amazing as you make it look so easy and breezy which means you re a pro. Blessings from Israel to all those beautiful people in Japan and blessings for their families so that they may grow larger and happier.🎉🎉🎉🎉
