I think you come across as a very kind person who is not quick to judge others, but still is firm in your convictions. I’d say you’re doing a lovely job of sharing with this corner of the internet-bringing positivity and realness, if that’s even a word. :)

Megan, I was geniuinely impressed with how you and Jayna talked about modesty and the topics around it. God has given you this platform, and He seems to always give you the words to say. I hope you can take comfort in that.

Megan I believe people come to see you to see YOU and what you are up to. We enjoy the reality you share and the example you set with the children and Josh and just showing how you love your family by all the little things you daily. You are a teacher in spirit so naturally you feel like you are learning or need to share or teach, and that is all wonderful. You as you, is what everyone enjoys and the joy you share and even the opinions you share. You are mentoring your children and viewers at the same time. Regardless of age, we all need to add to our bucket of life's experiences, and you add to that each time you share. I think it is an amazing gift that you have. We all don't have to always agree or try to influence everyone to our preferences but it's a joy to hear others opinions and then we always decide on what's best for our families or ourselves. Thirty -one is not old by any means. I'm 77 and still love to watch, listen, hear what is happening in the world outside of my own area. You are a joy and delight so please don't feel that you always need to have something innovative to share.........just share yourself and life and we all enjoy it as we are still here and coming back. I believe we are all God's children, and just as our children are always learning, we are so as well. I love your lights dancing again the walls in the house........so fun and such a smile those bring to our loves. My mother always hung a crystal prism or a pretty cut glass vase on the window sill as the sun reflected upon them and the rainbows just brought her such joy. Most of her time was spent in the kitchen so she put it where she could enjoy it anytime. Have a beautiful rest of your week and weekend. I Love the embroidery project. Absolutely darling! Blessings

I think this video is so encouraging to Moms-young and old because it shows the beauty of motherhood, loving your baby, enjoying your two year old, caring for your family. No teaching involved. Maybe podcasts are a little different but hearing your point of view humbly is a palatable way share that information. You’re doing a great job!

As a woman who dresses modestly, I think your podcast is just a way to explain your way of dress and why. I think it's a good topic... that we share our customs with others. Not to change their way of dress, but to educate a bit. The more we are aware of our different ways, the better we might get along in the world.

Lilacs!!! The very thought and scent ALWAYS, and I mean always, reminds me of my the bush outside my Grandma Byler’s bedroom window in Middlefield, Ohio. And plenty of encouragement and wisdom to carry into my days now. 😊 I really appreciate what you are doing and that you chose to put yourself out there. 🧡 God bless you and your family!

Me, att 53 yrs old, the wisdom of mid-life is knowing a human never stops learning. Once you realize you always have the opportunity to learn the better mentor/example you will be for your audience. Don't pressure yourself. The fact you state you care is beautiful. And you can qualify your content by stating "in this ERA of my life" - I LOVE that term Megan. And really darlin' just be authentically you. Your audience watches you for you and what you share. You are wonderful :) I just learned from you I need "water soluble paper" for my embroidery projects. You always have something to offer your audience, in ways you will never know. ❤❤❤

you can tone down colors by adding a bit of dye on the opposite side of the color wheel. For example, to tone down pink, add a tiny bit of green coloring - that way the pink won't get muddied by the brown.

Your mom’s gifts are just so lovely and useful and the baby’s breath experiment looks fun! I’m 61 and am hankering to try it. It delights me to see a young woman enjoying embroidery. Years ago, I took an evening and did a 60’s/70’s-style random (no pattern) design of flowers and miscellaneous butterflies, birds, a sun, etc in a jumble of colours up the side front of my (then) nine-year-old daughter’s denim play/school skirt. She loved it and I had so much fun making it. For an adult embroidery project, you may enjoy a tone-on-tone design. I had a friend who made a delicate pink/peach dress out of lightweight cotton and she embroidered small flowers around the hem in the same colour as the fabric. It was so pretty and wonderful for an adult. If you want a more noticeable design for one of your jackets, perhaps a non-floral design would suit you more. Something graphic? Swirls, paisley, linear designs (eg a Greek key) might work. Using only one or two colours would keep it firmly in the “lady” category too. Best wishes from Canada!

You can make lilac lemonade! If you soak the flowers in lemonade overnight add some bubbly water you’ll have a refreshing drink 😁

As you were doing your last tray I said to myself that they were going to be very spread, your batter was very soft by the end

I love to bake, taste the dough 👩‍🍳 then share the results with family, friends and colleagues. Not much of a dessert eater but let’s talk about savoury items ! Like your veggie sandwich- looks terrific. May grill mine ….

We make sour cream cookies! Probably similar to the buttermilk ones you made. They also look like the walmart ones but taste so much better in my opinion! My daughter likes them without the frosting.
