What you just wrote here proves her point then. I have met lovely Croatians and I have met few nasty ones too. I worked (early 2001) in hostel hosting asylum seekers and some of them were Croatians, and I good relationship with most of them and I learned the language. As in any society, they were few crazy ones too but I managed to handle them, luckily enough they never racially abused me even when we had our disagreements. So, Sarafina was right to document what she experienced in Croatia and it was an eye opener for most of us, specially people of color.
