I had a coffee corner at our baby shower and it was a blast. His shower was hundred acre woods themed (very subtle Pooh) so we had a donut hole “tower” that looked like a beehive close to the coffee and we had honey and cinnamon for “Pooh bear lattes”. I ordered custom coffee sleeves on Etsy that said “Baby F” and it was such a cute add. This video is being up good memories 😊😊

Possible suggestion on the guest space- when my second was born we added our guest bed (twin mattress) into his nursery. It served as a guest space (when guests visited my son would sleep in our room in his pack and play) but it was also amazing for all those middle of the night feeds for me to have a comfy place to feed him or keep him company at night 😊

that book nook should be a hidden place to put baby toys, you can make one that rolls out, like next to a washingmachine or refrigerator That would be such a lifesaver to keep it organised and clean.

What a lucky friend. Your menu, floral arrangements, sweet touches , are all so intentional and special. As for the tomato trellis... how about getting another one and put one in each bed and arch it higher so you can walk through and get the look you want. In the little nook near the stairs... a long thin mirror on the back wall with a peg rack on the side for a cute straw bag and hat in the summer... and a wool scarf and beanie in the winter (with some brass handing bells!) The colorful table, the cake on that amazing rustic riser... everything is perfect! And custom coffees and matchas!!! Yes, please!!!!! You are such an incredible hostess and homemaker for someone so young. I am totally impressed!!!!

It’s never too early to start nesting and setting up the nursery! I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I got most/ the major stuff done but still got other little things and I’m just no longer in the mood lol so I’m glad I started early. With that said, it’s never too early to start nesting. 🫶🏼

The little nook is such a cute idea. You could also hang back packs or little jackets there. I love the garden area with the little arch. The cafe idea was so creative and cute :) I went to Trader Joes for the first time when I was in Nashville. I got so many good things.

a possible idea for your garden trellis is to use vinyl lattice...it would be easy to attach to your garden beds with small wooden posts and is flexible enough to give you that perfect walk through archway 🥰

I made sure I had the post partum stuff but then the nursery I sort of slacked on and now I’m regretting that because it’s a mess even after all these months 🙈🤣 my baby takes up a lot of my time and usually her room is the last thing to pick up 😂 Either way though, if you want to go slow, that’s great too! Ali, look up cattle fencing, they sell it in a roll at Home Depot you can cut it to size. But might need some small posts to hold it up. It should work ❤

Sometimes the baby ends up sleeping in the bedroom near mom and dad, like in a bassinet. Some families don't end up utilizing the nursery as much as they think they will. I'm sure you will feel your way through the perfect set up. But I also had an idea that perhaps in the future you could build a small office in the yard (google tiny backyard office). That way you have a view of the garden and a quieter space to work in. Just an idea!

Our baby co-slept with us until she was around 4 months old. She refused to sleep in her bassinet that we had on my side of the bed. It is how both my husband and I survived! She never slept.😅 I had to sleep train her at 5 months to sleep in her crib in own room. It was rough! She also only would contact nap until she was 8 months old...She is almost 13 months old now and sleeps in her crib in her own room.😊🩷

Yeah every baby is different.. the baby still needs a bedroom even if they will sleep in parents room for a certain amount of time better to get that room ready before baby is here.

So this would mean getting a new bed but my husband works in our guest room and we got a Murphy bed for in there which really helped open it up. Took awhile to find one that we liked but we finally did and so now the bed is only down when guests are actually in town.
