Who else has a dog that pivots like this when excited? I’ve seen dogs do circles before but not this tornado madness! Thank you all for your wonderful comments and support here and on my little shop, it means the world and it's been so fun to package up your orders! Correction to a statement made in my video: I have always used the terms bi-racial and multi-racial interchangeably, since myself and my siblings have always been referred as both by family members and strangers. I have since learned the difference (I live and learn! Multi-racial expresses it more accurately). One of my parents is a native Puerto Rican - a mix of indigenous Taino and the ethnic group Moor, along with a racial background that stretches from the Sub Sahara to parts of Europe. She raised us very proud of our Latino roots and our family culture is heavily influenced by Puerto Rico. I am grateful to those with similar backgrounds who reached out and helped me better understand how to explain my origin. I encourage you to look into your family history, you may be fascinated by what you learn ❤️ Best wishes.

My mom has a similar feeling now that she is in her 60s. She has always been beautiful to me and still is, but she often says she does not like her hair and some days looks in the mirror and thinks she looks like she's falling apart. I know I am young and my words may not hold the weight in a positive light like I hope, but to me, wrinkles are the memory and proof of thousands of smiles, life being lived and smiles shared. And even as mentioned in the Bible, grey hair is a crown of wisdom given to honor those that inherit the roles of elders aka leaders who have lived long enough to live by love and choose peace. We look up to that, and must. All of these things to me make some of the most beautiful people I have seen. Trends change and consumerism pushing insecurities don't help reflections shine in a positive light, but when you start to love the change/ uniqueness that is you and be in the moment, no regrets just happiness can follow. I hope you have a beautiful day!

i spent (and still do) a lot of time trying to hide my face. i've said such cruel things to myself as if it would magically change my appearance simply by being mean to it. i developed a tumor over my eye as a baby and have gone through years and years of treatments and steroids and surgeries to help it. medically, i am healed, but it has left me with a heavy feeling of self-hatred. i was bullied for it as a kid. i looked different than my friends at school, with one "normal" eye and one lazy, droopy eye that looks swollen and bruised all the time... i was told i look like forest whitaker (which i always felt bad about, i didn't like that they were using someone as a synonym with ugly/abnormal to bully me) or that i looked like i got punched in the face. i still havent been able to accept the lasting physical effects of my illness. i still dont feel comfortable with myself. i wear heavy makeup to hide it or big glasses to cover it. i know exactly how to tilt my head in photos to hide that side of my face. it's such a shame that we criticize ourselves so deeply, yet would never think of doing it to others. it takes a lot of bravery to love yourself and be okay with your appearance when it feels like everyone is raised to find every flaw on themselves. it's exhausting trying to change and hate something you have no control over, yet we all seem to do it. unfortunately, disliking yourself is the norm, and liking yourself is this radical, unexpected thing. i wish we could all talk to ourselves the way we talk to others.

We were lucky enough to have some days of snow here in Bergen in south-west Norway, too, it's been so good for us. People were ice skating, kids were sledding and building snow men, and we got more light (for those who don't know, snow reflects 80% of light, so the winter is less dark with snow). Also, since I live by the foot of a mountain, we are in shadow most of mid-winter, but a couple days ago the sun shone on our neighbourhood for the first time, that too felt great.

It almost felt like your dog was spinning along w/you in joy of skating on the frozen lake . . the snow is so beautiful I wish the entire world would listen to you speak what a beautiful calming effect they'd feel (happiness/joy) ❤🙋♀️🐶

I'm always shocked when I hear others speak of their insecurities around their appearance, especially someone as beautiful as yourself. Goes to show that we are our biggest critic, most people are not judging our appearance or anything else about us really. We're all just living our lives.

I used to be so embarrassed of my big nose- but then I came across a beautiful black and white picture of my grandmother in her wedding dress on her wedding day. She was breathtaking. I had never seen a picture of her when she was my age, and we look nearly identical! My perspective of my face changed forever after seeing that beautiful picture of her. No one is ugly- we are all beautiful in our own ways. I loved your video on this topic, thanks for sharing.

Can't imagine starting my day any other way than with a walk with my doggo 😍🐶 it's the perfect combination of being alone without being lonely, enjoying the calm but moving the body, and just being outside in nature. Love this video! Thank you so much for the content! It brightens up my day and calms my soul

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to live a quiet, simple, intentionally small and cozy life through your lovely videos. The combination of colors, textures, music, nature sounds and the lilting sounds of your voice telling your stories makes my 70 year old body ravaged by cancer and other problems long to retreat into each new video. I remember the softness of a bunny's fur, the sound of breezez in the tall grasses in green pastures. You have reminded me of the magic of a firefly or lightning bug. Finally, I find the images of Peter Pan, The Velveteen Rabbit, Beatrix Potter characters and magical fairy folk the tangible reach into my spirit to keep my mind young and even childlike. Thank you.

I would love to see and hear one of your journeys edited with only the sounds you hear, no background music. Just the peace and quiet of that place with the soft sounds you create moving through your world. Thank you for this which you have shared. It is a joy to me.

I tell my children: it is very important to remember our ancestors. Hundreds of thousands of years of unbroken threads reaching into the future from the very beginning. When we look in the mirror, they are looking back - it's not a metaphor. It's real. You see when you really look into your own eyes. We live in a time where we are obsessed with self-analysis and selfies. They have their place but there is more. There is more to the world and there is more to us.💚

I find it awe-inspiring how after a full day of stress and mental rumble, I watch one of these videos and find myself in a place of happiness and utter joy that I was given the chance to live another day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing me down to earth and inspiring me to see beauty where I wouldn’t dare to look otherwise!

My family dog Rover is a black lab and was born in Montana on a farm in winter- it is his favorite season. He used to love to run and play in it but now that he is 13 he is slowed walking in it and eating it along the way. The view you have at the end of your video is so beautiful. That is my dream home setting- surrounded by hills and mountains and trees but some openness around you. I used to be self conscious about my features as well- it can be so hard when society presses what they think "beauty" is when in reality- everyone has something unique about them that makes them beautiful.

My son loves to collect natural crystals and stones that he digs up from creek beds and wooded areas. You can often find him in the cornfield behind our house, covered in mud, with fist-fulls of rocks. He is 13 now but had been like that since he could toddle. I remember, my grandmother bought him a book about a little boy who loved stones. He had me read it to him over and over. He still has treasure boxes full underneath his bed. I adore this about him and keep it tucked in my heart. He was known for having pockets full of crystals while my daughter had pockets full of food. Even chicken noodle soup at one point! LOL! Also, I would love the recipe to your delicious looking meal at the end! Thank you for the beautiful video:)
