I hate it even more now here in ol sweet home Alabama. My husband and I, 38 yrs old, no kids. Had an appointment in April for a consultation at an IVF office. That shattered our dreams of becoming parents. Going to another state is more money on top of all the money that comes with the IVF procedure. I pray this changes.

People who are reading Bowen's characterization as if he just got up there to tell a bunch of misogynist jokes have entirely missed the point. The point is, Truman Capote, author of "In Cold Blood," is known for redefining the True Crime literary genre. He also had this whiny, sing-songy tone of voice that gave everybody the creeps, and according to a biopic released last week, he exposed secrets in print that were given to him in confidence by famous women who were foolish enough to think of him as a worthy confidante. If true, it makes Capote seem pretty loathsome. Bowen Yang is skewering Truman Capote, not telling stupid misogynist jokes. And it seems to me like Capote deserves a lot of skewering, and Bowen Yang is the perfect cast member to do it.
