Eli you are the luckiest man ever!! if i had to pick between Jessica Alba or Ken hackathorn, A tussle between the sheets or a range day with the old man himself. I'd show up to that range proudly with my wilson combat Hackathorn special. This dude and bill mastered pistol fighting in 1997 and there VHS video set is the testimony to that. Excellent video smashing like button now!!

What a great video with two of the best 1911 guys out there. For a lot of people the gun is nothing more than a tool. For some of us, the 1911 means more and is the ICON. Ken and Eli understand what the 1911 means to guys like us who put it in iconic status. Ken is an icon, Eli is on his way.

I have a Remington R1 Tactical DS that I've "Wilson-ized" everything on it aside from the double stack frame and slide is Wilson Combat Bulletproofed out in 45acp with +2 magazine extensions (17 rounds of 45!). I don't know what it is but this Remington seems to have just been made for the Wilson parts and I love it! Oops the grip panels, grip screws, and Trijicon night sights are stock and came with the gun too. I wish I had bought another one just like it and I wish I had two of them in 9mm as well

At the current age of 66 , I don't fire .357mag revolvers like I did just a few years ago . After 5000 rounds and 6 months , I had joint swelling that took many months to reduce . Keep to 9mm WC 1911 nowadays ..

Question for you, I am planning on buying a 1911 for my carry gun but I’m stuck between 2 right now, a Springfield garrison or a Springfield operator. Obviously, one is a classic 1911, no rail or optics cut, the other has the optics cut and light rail. What would you choose?
