Thank you Elizabeth for this excellent video. I have noted two of your recipes. I agree with you that turmeric can stain. I call it poor man's saffron, it still does the job. Best wishes Ann in South Australia.

I hope you are washing the onions and garlic before you are making your stock…they both grow in the ground just like other vegetables…no matter if you are buying organic or not organic the ground holds bacteria. It can make you very sick. Just google it, and I saw this first hand with a little girl in my church. I just want everyone to be safe.
@lilysantana4869 Жыл бұрын
I just found you and I love what I've watched so far! I wanted to ask, what recipe do you use for the stock? I've been wanting to make my own for a while now!
@healthyelizabeth Жыл бұрын
Oh I’m so glad!! Thank you! As for the stock I usually do some variation of the following: 1 onion 2 large carrots 3 celery stalks 3 garlic cloves 1 bay leaf 1/2 tsp whole peppercorns or (just pepper) 1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar Lots of sea salt Small handful of parsley (optional) And cover it will lots of filtered water. *if I’m making chicken stock I’ll add in 3lbs of bone in, skin on drumsticks or thighs. Hope that helps!! If all else fails I just through veggies or meat in a crock pot or instant pot and it always turns out well. 😁

Hi there! thank you so much for the tips! where do you get the two pans you use on your stove top?

I’m new here and I loved😍the video and the focus on organic food like meat, milk etc. Makes the immune system stronger by keeping a healthy diet, and also less frequent to getting sick. Good to instill those habits in your children from a young age. (I also rarely buy eggs, since my mom has chickens too😂🙌🏻) Btw have anyone ever told you that you look like Erin Krakow from “when calls the heart”?😅

i am finding it absolutely exhausting checking grocery items for this or that ingredients.
@healthyelizabeth10 ай бұрын
So do I! My biggest tip is just stick with what is called "functional foods" or Whole Foods. No labels but just 1 ingredient. Everything is simplified then 😊
