pro tip : you can sauté the carrot discards after juicing in some olive oil and herbs, I use them in pasta, samosa filling or soups, it’s good fiber

Omg! This is such a good idea. I've only really ever used it for homemade broth or carrot cake. Love rbe idea of using it as filling for even something like dumplings! Brilliant!

Try adding some apples when you juice your carrots. We’ve always done that and even kids love the taste of it, adds enough sweetness to make it enjoyable.

For the jam you could buy some pectin (or simply add some dried, crushed apples). That's the way jam is made where I live 😊 Also, you can fill the glasses with boiling water and boil the lids, too. Right before filling the glasses, dump the hot water, fill them all the way up with boiling jam, add the lids and turn them around so they sit with the lid down. This way they preserve without needing to can them and last for years without refridgerating

An idea for all of the carrot “waste” from the juicer - save it for muffins and cakes!! If you don’t use it right away, just freeze it!! What juicer for you use? It looks amazing!

In Greece we have a recipe like sauerkraut but we add minced garlic, shredded carrots,red peppers sticks, celery and a bit of white vinegar as well. We don't ferment it that much.Just a couple of days in the fridge and serve it as salad.Maybe you could try it sometime. Take care❤

Many times we have just grabbed a can of carrots and once warmed on stove and drained, be sure to add plenty of real butter. And sometimes it helps to add a small sprinkle of sugar. This can help them in our experience. Love your channel, Sarah!❤

Serious question: how do you have so much energy? I'm fatigued every day and trying so many things to try to increase my energy. I do have severe anxiety and I have anxiety induced pseudo-seizures. I'm on the keto diet to help control those, and it is working. I'm still so tired though.
@alyssavanblanckenberg13426 ай бұрын
Are you seeking any medical help for your fatigue? There can be so many reasons for you feeling tired but I’ve found that it’s become a norm in our society to be tired and to take midday naps. Sarah has a lot of energy that’s for sure but so do many others including myself. It’s not an exception rather than how we are mend to be. When we moved I was very tired for a few months. It didn’t feel normal and I discored a lot of mold in our house. Taking care of that took care of our energy levels. So I encourage you to look into it deeper!

Sarah is a professional content creator, she has no choice. She makes these elaborate recipes because it's her job. She has a stay at home husband who takes care of other areas of the house and childcare so she can do this. Please keep this perspective when comparing yourself to her and asking her for advice. That being said, I struggled for years with anemia and didn't know it, I was constantly exhausted and overwhelmed , and though it was depression. Getting blood tests, taking iron supplements and eating red meat with a source of vitamic c helped me, and not having coffee or tea for a few hours before and after the supplements. Sleeping 8 hours per night. Cutting out social media when I feel it is draining my energy and time. Hope this helps, I know what it feels like❤❤

@alyssavanblanckenberg1342 I've been seeing a hormone specialist to help out with the fatigue, and I'll be talking to my primary care doctor about it as well. I'm sure I should make some lifestyle changes too.😅
@MommaDrake026 ай бұрын
@lydias2980 I'm working on getting more red meat into my diet, as it is good for me. I've got lots of vitamins and supplements recommended to me by the hormone specialist I see regularly. He's run so many blood tests on me that if I had anemia I think he'd have found it.

First time coming across your channel and I have to say I'm really glad you don't show your kids' faces. Nowadays it's so common for content creators to use their children for profit in various ways across various platforms and it's so dangerous and really sad to see. Anyway, really great video and content - you just gained one more subscriber :)

Carrots are one of the only veggies that have the ability to detox excess estrogen from the body! However, that is from their fibers, so juicing essentially takes out all of those beneficial fibers 😅 I like to think of it like this- God created every fruit and veggie perfectly! The fiber of the fruit helps with blood sugar balance, and when you remove any part of the fruit (the skin usually has the fiber, so peeling is an example), it takes away the perfect balance that God made it as 🥰
