A gun makes a popping sound when fired while bullets can make two distinct sounds. The sound of striking a solid object is one. The other: Since Bullets travel at supersonic speeds as they pass through the air, they create miniature sonic booms, or a boomlets. The popping sound travels much slower, so, any reaction Trump made was based on hearing the sound of the boomlets as they moved through the air.

I watched the event only a minute or two after it happened. The very first thing that entered my mind was "why are there no helicopters in the air?" Then watching videos I heard someone say, "has the secret service never heard of drones" There were so many ways this could have been prevented!! May God watch over us all!

Anyone can make a complaint to any Accreditation Board about comments made online by Professionals like Doctors, Lawyers, Psychologists, etc. The complaints that led to the egregious treatment of Dr. Jordan Peterson were not made by patients or even anyone who had ever met him and some were made from outside of Canada even. Best and the most generous case - it was incompetence on the part of the secret service and police that the building wasn’t constantly covered or manned, worst case - it was intentional. I cannot fathom how the ONLY building near the grounds wasn’t covered or occupied FOR THIS REASON. It’s baffling and it is one of two things - incompetence or intentional. It wouldn’t surprise me if Trump becomes the first president to go with a private firm to handle his security from now on. I would. It’s no secret that the FBI, CIA, DOD don’t like trump. They withheld information from him all the time while he was in office and how those organizations treated him afterwards - Russia Gate being one instance, I wouldn’t trust any of them, especially now.

I am an amateur photographer and you do not need a “high speed camera” to get the shot of a bullet (high speed camera means something quite specific). What you need is a fast shutter speed (most professional cameras have that).

Surely the two police officers checking out the validity of the witnesses in the crowd claims that a man with a rifle was on the roof of the shed would have radioed this information to the Secret Service (and police snipers on the roof a short distance away) and if so, the police snipers could have taken the shooter out. It appears from watching the film, that the police snipers were focused on the shooter and perhaps were waiting for along time for permission to shoot. A second after the shooter shot, he was taken out since the police had him in their sights for a long time. These are the questions that now must be asked. Who did not provide immediate permission to shoot 🤔

"While there were some who were shocked that Pierre said he was “happy the shooter was dead”, they appeared to be misinterpreting his meaning within the context. I agree with the person who said that Pierre was happy the shooter was stopped before he killed anyone else, not that another human being was dead. The shooter was apparently still firing when he was shot after all. This was not a case of Poilievre gloating over a death."

I never liked Trump's attitude and I do not agree his approach to the Israel-Palestine conflict. I believe that USA will loose the opportunity to elect RFK Jr. who could really unify the country.
