Availability is a huge thing. At best, two out four quarters each year do I see new stock in stores with any kind of quantity. Funny enough, GameStop has been the most reliable source of new Transformers and Joes in my area, but they only get one or two cases of it

The Hot Shot was the only new mold. We got a Siege Hound recolor of it before. The new Springer is going to use the Siege mold with retooled lower arms, upper thighs but same lower legs, and new toon head and chest. The price is up because of retooling and more accessories like a G1 toy blaster, big bomb, 86 movie sword plus a transforming propeller sword, and the two original siege blasters.

Rarely I'm proud of hascrap! But the remastered series is absolutely the best of the lightning collection. And among the best hascrap has ever produced. Even bootlegs ate showing up on aliexpress I'm interested in 😂❤

9:27 The tryps you're referring to was both. It was a titan class in the Titans Return line. It ended up at a few Ollie's for $49.99, and I got an extra at Burlington for $59.99. 9:31 Those were some of the few TFs in stock online during target's 20% off sale last week. 15:30 I could see them doing a commander class price on a soundwave with all the cassettes, while reusing the limited netflix mold... scratch that, all cassettes minus ratbat so they can milk the mold further with a Soundblaster. 20:49 whoa, whoa, whoa... slow down fella. The Ryu & Chun Li released in those turtle 2-packs were *_not_* on the same level as Jadatoys... well, maybe their packaging was. I think playmates could shine by releasing power ranger zords that are the same size of the Voltrons they made a few years back and re-released this year.

Highly recommend the unique toys Ordin. I have 3 of them. One is custom painted in cartoon colors. Its small, but great with liketoys upgrade. Also looks great on a shelf with smaller figurss.

Great news about Mondo and 1:12 Ghostbusters. Kind of glad Super7 didn't get this license. I wish Mondo would do 1:12 versions of their BTAS and X-Men, as Hasbro has never been able to capture the true animated X-Men style, and BTAS is in need of an update. The new and reissued McFarlane stuff is good, but Todd is still using the DC Direct joints that originated in 1998.

Those Vaders and Mandos are a great thing. Those are evergreen characters so new collectors can pickup the best Episode 4 Vader ever made in BS and the best Mando figure in the series. No need to go secondary. Vaders on the shelf are a good thing. We can all buy 3 of them and then complain about prices being too high.

They seem like a good idea but it is disheartening to long term collectors who have bought several versions and now none are special. It is fun to collect stuff that is special not having a collection of old news that has been rehashed 24 times but maybe that is just me and I should reprioritize to vintage stuff that is actually special

Im not collecting from scratch another ThunderCats line Mike... Plus I'm into cartoon accurate and not into modernized versions... Oh I almost forgot to mention the pricing of Mondo merchandise. I prefer to stay collecting these figures from Super 7.😎💡👍

I'm still iffy on the mpg-09, the original Ginrai is about 9 and a half inches. MPG-09 looks about 2 inches bigger (maybe 11.5) and the KFC Ginrai is over 14 inches, but I could be wrong. On the Hasbro releases, it almost feels like there are two different design teams based on the difference in line like the cybertron universe. Ramen doing "A" team van and now a knight in shinning rider........... my wallet is hiding in a corner already....... Fans Hobby coming out of left field with a Joe vehicle that can actually fit Roadblock. Crazy times. Seems like an amazing time to be a collector.

I’d be much more into the Robosen products if they were also a digital assistant. Like if ask Optimus Prime to tell me the weather forecast, I want him to stomp around on his shelf and say that Megatron has made a weather dominator and it’s likely to rain. If I ask Megatron what is my meeting schedule, he should comment on whether I have left enough time in the day for crushing Autobots. If I tell Grimlock to play music, he needs to say “Me Grimlock love dancing” and dance around a little while he activates my speakers.

The 2 they put out were great but I like more of a toon look rather than real look so Playmates actually appeals more to me than Jada but Jada is going DEEEEP

Cheaply made is the entire problem with Playmates...as far as roleplay stuff. I've seen reviews of a couple of their revamped Classic Star Trek/Star Trek Universe stuff (Original Series Type II Phaser Pistol, Original Series Communicator, etc.), aaaaaand...their originals from the early to mid 90s sucked, and these new-ish versions suck just as much or more (the communicator has less detail, for example). Their TMNT roleplay stuff has always looked like cheap KOs, and that hasn't changed at all over the last few decades. Figures, however, should be easy peasy (unless they go the Star Trek route, those are awful). Figures seem to be their best aspect.

I agree Playmates is cheaply made and that is how they deliver the great prices. Many collectors understand the lightening collection might be the best bet unless Super 7 ultimates go on sale
