Weekly Operation: Destroyer Yudachi in Cherry Blossom

This week we will feature the Shiratsuyu class Destroyer Yodachi in the former tier 8 allied cruiser only operation, Cherry blossom. Most other torpedo focused destroyers can do the more or less the same thing is this operation. If you would like specific ship featured in the near future, please let me know in the comments and I will do my best to accommodate.

Entertaining battle. And I liked that excited Captain voice. She is almost as funny as Hosho Marine. 😅😇 Not sure if you have seen it yet, but there are cap/cap assist missions in the current dockyard and the match type icons in their descriptions show that those can be completed in Ops. Do you know what one must do in Ops to earn cap/cap assist ribbons? 🤔 Or did WG make a mistake here?

Shirakami Fubuki, my favorite hololive captain, I love her voice lines. The cap/assist is due to lazy devs who don't play the game and just marking everything as doable in ops regardless of actually possible or not

I will say it is easier to get torp hits in random battles with the Yudachi. It seems the ai have that ability to know where the torpedos are all the time.

vs coop, yes, but in ops, the bots have simple programming so they usually do not dodge torps.

@@FV_Ops I'm not sure the bots have autonomy to dodge torpedoes at all. They will make changes in speed and bearing for obstacles (I suspect their script relies on auto-pilot waypoints) and in Asymmetric they will react to spotted ships within a certain range (going cold for a long time). But I can't personally identify a time when bot scripting was interrupted to reactively torpedobeat like Yuro.

You have no clue how to do these, its not a selfish endeavor to torp stuff its about working together to finish the objectives, what you go do north does NOTHING to help your team, NOTHING to keep the game alive by saving the regimens its pathetic and WRONG gameplay, no question about it.
