has your GP ever thought about lymphoedema, i have this and have swelling in my lower legs and ankles

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply - I've been struggling to keep on top of things with my health, but really appreciate you commenting :) It's not something my GP has mentioned - we think the swelling is probably due to my POTS and lack of movement, but I'll keep that in mind if things get worse thank you xx

Hi, I love your vlogs. I’m not really doing anything, I’ve been on my own since March, and not been out. Eventually I hope to find a PA so I can get out as my last one disappeared just before Christmas and I haven’t had any help since. I have a problem with my legs swelling. Usually my good leg swells a bit if I don’t put my legs up, but my leg that’s not weight bearing sometimes swells alarmingly, my calf can easily be five inches bigger than my other one. Apparently my doctor said it was just because I’m not mobile enough and to try to keep my legs up when I can. (I can’t use a foot stool because my knees bend backwards too far, ...its a good excuse to use lots of pillows!). Do you think your digestive issues might be related to changing your medicine?

How are you finding it having been on your own since March? I really hope you have some luck finding a PA to help you. Sorry to hear about your legs swelling - I can sympathise as mine do the same and I know how uncomfortable it can be. I hope putting your legs up is helping a bit. Unfortunately the digestive issues seem to be unrelated to the medication change as I've been getting the flare ups since before I started it. I'm guessing it's just part and parcel of having Gastroparesis - fun! xx
