You could also get a really simple bed frame that doesn’t have a headboard and is still low to the ground (so the bed is same height as the window) if you are iffy about the mattress being on the floor!!

never leave your mattress on the floor for too long! you need some kind of bed frame even if it's just small. if there's no ventilation happening on the bottom side of the mattress the moisture will build up and eventually mold.

Congrats!! I hope you are settling in well! I know you said you don’t want a bed frame but if you get one that is low you can use underneath for storage. The brand Mellow had one that sits low and it’s sized to the mattress. It’s affordable too!

Ik this is super late but you probably shouldn’t have your mattress on the ground!! It over time causes mold and attracts bed bugs! Especially if you don’t have any plastic cover over it! I suggest getting a simple bed frame or something that can elevate your mattress off the ground without it being too bulky!! Congrats on the new apartment 🫶🏾

I think a Chinese platform style bed would be sooo cute in your space! It won’t take up any room but it will get your mattress from being directly on the floor …over time that puts wear on your mattress. I love your apartment and definitely understand that feeling, it gets better as you adjust. I need to borrow your terrace tho 😂😍

Love the apartment. However I suggest getting a bed frame. A few reasons. One your is going to get dusty on floor level. If you get a bed frame you can utilize under the bed for storage.

Sis you really need to get a bed frame. Not a headboard but a mattress frame. It will not take up space (same size as the mattress). You are going to freeze sleeping on a cold floor. Especially in Fall/ Winter.
