Hi, Nandos worker from the Midlands here! I just want to say I'm so glad you enjoy the Imitator, I'm not vegan but I love it as well and happily recommend it to people when they ask about it. (Even with people pointing out online that it's cooked on the same grill as the chicken and the vegetarian option, a lot of people are still ordering it) I don't think anything has changed with the bread, but it might be that you had a slightly older roll, it really depends on what time of day you went, cause rolls get cooked in the morning and no more get done unless they're needed. Any questions just ask, I'm always happy to help 😊

I live in America so are use Karol syrup to make this thing called seven minute frosting you take egg whites with cream of tartar you whip them until you get stiff peaks Add vanilla extract, boil your Corn syrup until warm and then add the corn syrup to the egg whites and fold them in then you have the best tasting frosting that taste like marshmallow fluff

Nandos got rid of their only old vegan option when they moved to a reduced menu because of Covid. I can't wait to finally go back and try this! I'll probably add more perinaise or hot sauce inside though cos that bun looked dry AF!
