Weeks after strike action, Canada Post workers return to the job

Cruel to hold millions of dollars in other people’s property and these people paid in full for delivery!! Us way up north do not have malls. People ordered their needs and could not just go out and buy at a store!! Black Friday was ruined for businesses and millions of buyers. This was a cruel Rotton stunt to punish the very people who entrusted their property to Canada Post and paid for a delivery service that Canada Post chose not to fulfill. Millions have lost faith in Canada Post. Delivering mail is not a high risk life death or skilled trade but these workers want the wages of a plumber, doctor, physician all skilled with many years of expensive college. Deliver the mail you were paid to deliver. Fine stop taking in new agreements to deliver and go sit in your empty warehouses and argue until the cows come home. But deliver as paid and as promised these goods that don’t belong to you!! Holding other people’s property hostage is wrong just like stealing or holding up a bank. I have a coat and boots and medications stuck in this hostage situation. I have never before lived so far north all my clothes are thin light from living way down south. I was forced to move way up north due to urgent need for medical care. We don’t have malls up here we barely have food and basic needs stores up here. I have had no tracking updates since Nov12! I need my winter coat and boots and meds!! My surgery will be cancelled because my meds didn’t arrive that I was to take for 30 days before surgery. We could not afford nor make the high risk 8 hour winter Journey back to Toronto specialists hwy 11 is a death sentence either from cold, slide off highway or get taken out by huge transport trucks. My needs entrusted in Canada Post care was not delivered in a timely way but held hostage and I don’t support Canada Post doing this to their paying customers! They were paid well to deliver.

Who cares! They don't deliver anyway! You order something from Amazon! you pay for delivery service! and then it gets as far as Canada Post and that's as far as it goes! You can't get ahold of anybody to find out where your parcel is because they have you cock blocked! So now you're parcel is sitting on some postal workers shelf 5 years later! after you already paid for it! The only thing they deliver with consistency are your bills! so if the government wants to pay for that I would say we're getting ripped off! If bills need to be delivered I say that's up to the sender! Not the taxpayer!
