Henry Creel was born in 1947. He killed his family when he was 11 or 12 in 1959. He was then detained by Dr Brenner for 20 years until he manipulated 11 to take the suppressor out of his neck in 1979, aged 31 or 32. So Henry Creel/001/Vecna is 38 or 39 and he’s trying to take over the world for his 40th birthday 🥳

THIS thank you!!!!! I worked out why I was so confused, I grew up in an era where 20-30 year olds were playing highschool aged kids (thinking of Grease, Saved by the Bell etc) so that's why I thought Vecna was like 20 years old and the timing didnt add up! But this explains it perfectly, thank you!!

yeah and jaime is 33 so it's not that far of a stretch even though he looks younger obviously i get it's weird though because steve's actor is 30/31 too and he's supposed to be so much younger lol

I think what's confusing is that it's easy to forget that all of the scenes in the lab with Henry are flashbacks... this all happened in 1979 which would have made Henry about 30 years old then. He looks younger sure, but the actor who plays him is in his 30s so it makes sense. I can see where it's easy to get confused though, because in the present-day 80s he would have been about 40 and he definitely does not look 40 years old. So it can throw you off if you forget that these are flashbacks.

That reveal was amazing. Honestly the way all the plot threads were tied together in this series really impressed me. The editing, the production value. It's all top notch. Now that I've got the entire series in a box set I'm looking forward to going back to watch 1-3 to pick up on all the connections but I'm probably gonna blitz through Vox Machina first since I just finished downloading it and I can watch those reactions too.

Speaking of ET, when Dustin calls Steve in e1, you can see "ET phone home" scribbled by the payphone. Pretty cool detail! When One showed El the tracker thing, he said "It weakens me, it tracks me". So that was probably the main reason he wanted to get rid of it. And I love the Boromir vibes when he talks about such a small thing causing so much trouble. Sadly I spoiled myself about the orderly being Vecna. I wanted to check where I knew him from, so I looked him up on IMDB. I tried to avoid looking at what it said about Stranger Things, but even my super quick glance caught the word Vecna. But at least I didn't know how he had become Vecna, and I didn't know he was also Henry Creel. I did notice that they didn't show Henry much in the Creel house scene, and I thought it was weird that he fell into a coma instead of dying immediately like everyone else. But I didn't think about it after that. Btw, I LOVE how Jamie Campbell Bower manage to look sweet, kind and evil at the same time. Both One and Papa are the kind of manipulative people who use the truth to lie. Very scary tactic, since it makes it so hard to know if you can trust them or not. About the stupidity of leaning to try to see better while watching stuff.. I do that while playing games. It never works for some reason. Wonder why..
@WeeLassReacts2 жыл бұрын
OH NO I'm so sorry that was ruined for you D= thats rubbish but I LOVE that they had extra layers to the twist to help soften that blow! Jamie Campbell Bower's acting in this was ON POINT!!! I wish I'd called it out in the video but I was just so entranced by him that I didn't!

@@WeeLassReacts (good fucking job, me, closing the tab where you had an almost complete message was a great idea..) I wasn't too upset about being spoiled, because at least I didn't know how he went from a sweet blonde guy to a slimy mess. And instead of wondering who he was, I could speculate on how it had happened. I assumed El had somehow created him, but of course I had no idea about the details. There are some really cool videos on how they made the Vecna suit, and a short one showing them put it on. It's very much sped up, because putting it on took about 6-8 hours!!! I can recommend watching those, they're really cool. Some were released before vol 2, so they didn't have any spoilers for the last two episodes.

Love it when I can see the hamster wheel is turning and you are sorting things out and the editing flourishes. I think that shot with the van may not have been a drone shot, I've got a feeling it was all CGI. Now that Vecna is out of the bag I can tell you about this fan theory that got tossed around before this episode. Going back to when Chrissy was talking to Eddie in the woods she told him she remembered first meeting him in grade school and he had a shaved head there was pretty cool theory that Eddie was #1 and had escaped the lab and been hiding his telekinetic powers. What a plot twist that would have been!

I'm gonna add a comment in the "reply" to this regarding our last interaction from the previous video. This is another episode that I've been waiting for you to watch and react to! Episode 8 is fine, but just you wait for 9! (I did not mean to make these rhyme!) I had mentioned that after watching Ep 6 that it was late and I was gonna go to sleep but I had to see what happened to our boy Steve. I was happy they went right into that, and like you I must've said $h!* many times during that opening fight scene. Oh $h!* Holy $h!* What the $h!* LOL! I had figured out that the orderly was One and I think I guessed that One was the kid with the dead family, but I didn't connect that One was Vecna, I thought Vecna had possessed him somehow. Amazing episode even without 1/3 of the cast. Thanks for another great reaction! Loch Sloy! ~Be Blessed

@elkins44069 ай бұрын
Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you like guessing right better than being surprised), if you watched with a group of friends, your chances of seeing all the twists coming ahead of time went waaaaay up. So many people predict one or two of the twists, but not all three. If you watch in a group and then talk about it afterwards, though, then chances are that between the bunch of you, you've foreseen all three aspects of the reveal -- and as soon as you compare notes, it all clicks into place pretty neatly.

I'm gonna be honest, i'm an avid hater of Steve x Nancy. I didn't like them together in season 1 at all and i don't now. Steve wants to settle down, have an average job and have a big family with tons of kids and his dream life is basicially Nancy's biggest nightmare as we learned in season 1. At least Jonathan and Nancy have in common that they are both introverts, have doubts about ever wanting to be a parent (because of both of their parents failed marriages), both are into research, finding answers and documenting, both want to study and get out of Hawkins etc. Like, if they do make it in season 5 and talk it out they could make an awesome team, they balance eachother out a bit. But Nancy and Steve? They have nothing and common and their life styles and dreams of the future don't fit together at all... I would rather have Nancy single than be together with steve...

Yes I did! I dropped off after about episode 4 or something, it was good but a bit formulaic for my taste. It's the same reason I stopped watching Spinning Out. Once you've seen one, you've seen them all! But I hope you enjoyed it???
@Drudenfusz2 жыл бұрын
@@WeeLassReacts I did, however I think the drug use was not necessarily there about her performance, but more as a symbol for her inner void, and thus the emotional resolution of the show was not about winning or overcoming drugs, but about finding a place to belong to. But that kind of stories have also been done a lot, and thus one could say it was a little formulaic in that regard too, but it still worked for me, maybe because I could identify with her rather well. As a child of a broken home that prefers to live in my own little world where I have control.

I'm not going to give you some christian or other religious spiel. I just want to say that death is not the end of your existence. It's already been witnessed but, the witnesses don't have physical proof so people aren't willing to believe them. Even though they know things they shouldn't because other people know that their body was not conscious, yet they still saw these things that were happening. It's called your consciousness. Believe it or not, it exits with or without our body. We don't really know much about or understand how things work outside our physical universe. Most people aren't willing to believe things that they can't experience though one of their 5 senses much less understand. Ever get the feeling you're being watched and someone was...
