The seat needs to be placed up and forward of the stock position to be able to ride standing up and sitting down without hitting your knees against the seat. If you do a couple mods on the seat it works great. I drilled new holes in the brace to move the seat forward and places a solid plastic piece between the seat and brace to raise it about 2 inches. Works great

Sorry I know this was a couple years ago but I'm interested in the mod you did so your knees don't hit. What was the piece of plastic did you use and did you then need to use a longer screw?

Notice the angle of the riders knees - I have one and this is the problem with them. Its hard to imagine this not causing knees problems in due course. Its very uncomfortable and cycling any distance is impossible. Whoever sorts the design to allow normal knee tracking will do very well. Also at a normal saddle height (ie toes on the ground) its hard to dismount as the seat hits gets in the way of your leg coming over.

How's the fitment for the adapter bar on this? I'm looking to get one, but the bike has absolutely no rise at all in the stem tube. The crossbar is welded right at the very top of the stem meaning the first thing available to clamp is the spacers which obviously rotate with the handle bars. Does this bike have the same setup, and have you been able to clamp this in a non-standard way?

Hated this seat. It felt so dangerous. I got rid of it.

Sorry you didn't like yours but I have one and loved it, used it with my son between the ages of 1 and 3 I think. he's 13 now. I recommend this seat to others still. It's super easy to install and as safe as the rider is so if you know how to ride a bike all should be good.

@@GrowingWithJames it might be the fit on the bike. It might suit somd better than others. But for me it got in the way of lifting my knees, also effected the turning and was more of an obstruction and a safety issue. I wish it had suited my bike as I love the idea of being up front
