It's alright, but the agonised tone of John Shuttleworth's voice was probably what most sent me over the edge. No less than 20 minutes of silent, shaky, breathless laughter. Absolutely floored me.

Oh, yes, back when Cartoon Network UK wasn't encrypted and could be received via satellite in mainland Europe. I never had Weetabix (not sure if you can even buy it outside of Britain), but over 25 years later I still remember that commercial. It definitely helped me learn English.

There are some adverts that just stick in the mind. The Weetabix driving instructor, Carling Black Label's Dam Buster's advert and the Holsten Pils add that Griff Rhys Jones did back in the 90s. You don't get that kind of humour any more, the adverts of today are crap.
