I went through an illness recently that resulted in POTS. There is SO much information online that says POTS isn't curable, but I definitely am getting better slowly. Listening to healing meditation frequencies on KZbin, talks by Dr. Joe Dispenza, and learning Qi Gong/Tai Chi have all helped drastically!! Cheers to you and your wellness. 💕

The time we sprung for the frozen king crab, we roasted it in the oven with garlic butter and it was messy but delicious. Found the recipe on the interwebs. Maybe try that if you ever want to do it again?

With the king crab; thaw it slowly in the fridge, take the meat out of the shell, and give it a very quick fry (in a cast-iron pan if you have one) with butter, garlic and herbs. Eat right away with bread and aioli. 😋😊

I didn't expect to see Danny Gregory on here! I've been getting his Friday essay emailed to me for a couple years now. And he does have a nice soothing voice I could see someone sleeping to. I actually signed up for one of his drawing classes - The Creative License. It started January 1st. There is a new lesson available every day for 33 days. When you are done with your drawing you can upload it with the rest of the people's lessons. It's a very positive & motivational class. There are people from all over the world posting, or just looking. ... but it's based on his first book, so I guess you could just go from that. I'm enjoying the gentle pressure from me wanting to post my work every day. Today is day 27 of art every day!

That watercolor palette is the Kuratake Gansai Tambi watercolor palette. I have the same one and I also have their metallic palette. I really like them. They are different then most watercolors I've used, but really accessible and forgiving for folks (like myself) who aren't highly skilled at watercolor.

Love the drawing!! It's so satisfying to draw after not doing it for a while. Hopefully you can take the life drawing class... is it possible to park just next to the class? For crab legs, I just put them on a baking sheet, cover with foil to keep in the moisture, and bake them until I can smell the crab! It's my favorite way to cook them... no messy watery legs and super easy.

I just packed up the last of my xmas decor today - mainly bows on my front rails and taking apart my homemade living wreath. I had the bins out in my kitchen for the last several weeks ready to fill up again as well. great minds think alike. :) i still have my winter decor up for a couple more months though

It’s definitely not just you….I don’t want to worry about ending up in the background of someone’s social media post looking crazy when I already feel bad about myself and am dragging myself to the gym. You should consider consolidating appliances. For me, I got an instant pot duo & it saves me from having a rice cooker, crock pot, air fryer & pressure cooker so I can have just this one thing out on my counter which means I actually use it on a regular basis & save on cooking time. Loved the drawing/painting montage!

I love life drawing! We had it every week when I was at FIT in NYC. And for some reason they always had a hard time finding female models during our class time, so we had a lot of male models. I had an awkward moment running into one of them (clothed) on the subway 😂😅

Have you tried the rubber livestock bowls for chicken water? Super easy to get the ice out, add clean water, and scrub out.

We just got a little heater plate thing and it's working great so far. It only turns on at a certain temp so it isn't on all the time but needed to have a metal watering vessel instead of plastic and don't worry we wrapped one of those puppy proof cord things around the cord to prevent chicken pecks too lol. I appreciate the rec tho! This was a pickle lol

Gorgeous animals!!! Good on Stephen for trying the crab. I do not like seafood at all (just fish/shark covered in batter LOL) and the chips...if they are with fish they are seafood too! . I grew up on and near the coast in NZ. My dad ate mussels, oysters, whitebait etc. I hated all of it!

Tip for heating the crab legs - fill a large baking dish with boiling water and put the crab legs in then put in a preheated oven and cook them that way. Or just break down the legs so they can be submerged in a pot
