Keep going! It will come off how it went on -- slowly and exactly how your body wants. It's trying to get you to stop but don't get discouraged. I cried through my work out nine days ago. KEEP GOING! You can do it. I'm so looking forward to that day when your body surprises you again with its awesome progress. It WILL happen! You are really inspirational. Thanks for sharing. I so very much appreciate it. Also, I totally feel you about being suffocated. Far too many people!

byebyebelly I'm so sorry to hear about your 'female' issues. I've struggled with UTIs my whole life and hormonal problems for the last 8 years or more (I just turned 41). I feel like I've mostly got a handle on it but it's definitely not perfect. One thing I started about a year and a half ago is taking 'Vitebsk fruit' capsules. I'm not sure if it's available in Oz but maybe by a different name. Along with a change in birth control, I feel like it's made a difference. The scientific name is Vitex Agnus-Castus and the common name is Chaste Tree Berry. I also just started acupuncture with a Chinese medicine Doctor. A close friend of mine says it changed her life a couple years ago but I've only done two sessions. Good luck and hang in the the region!

I relate to this so much I couldn’t imagine having a job on of it! Keep trying you’re doing great even though the scale isn’t what you want, you’re doing what you can. Trust me I know I’ve been struggling with my weight my entire life. And right now I’m not happy with how I’m eating or dealing with things mentally. I struggle with OCD and it’s honestly debilitating and hard to do simple things through out the day and today was one of those days so thank you for this video.

I honestly don't feel well enough to work and haven't for a long time. The 18 hour sleepover shifts are so inappropriate for me, there's no way to sleep when people could walk into your room or yell out for you at any moment. I spend days trying to get a sleep schedule back on track because I can't get out of bed the day after, so it eats right into my so called "days off". Every day, I think I can't do this anymore but I've been pushing for years. I don't feel well enough to work out either. I understand how you feel because I also have OCD and GAD. That came first, then loads of physical health issues towards my late 20s. I can't remember what it's like to not feel exhausted and suck and dizzy, I truly can't remember. It's really hard. I hope you'll feel a bit better soon, OCD is exhausting on its own!

Sending the biggest of hugs. During my last period of weight loss I would see no loss for 3 weeks at a time and it's SO FRUSTRATING but persistence is what helped me keep it off in the end and really trying to remember that this time around. Hormones really do affect everything, I've mentioned before I have PCOS and that makes weight loss so damn slow but you're not alone in your fight
@ByeByeBelly

Thanks 💛 Yeah, hormones make it so difficult. I can gain 2 kg overnight from this fluid retention issue I'm having. Definitely important to remember that weight loss doesn't have to (and likely won't) happen every week. It just feels sooooo slow

Girl what you need is a holiday, stress can affect weight loss, and food wise, just track EVERYTHING on my fitness pal for about 1 month and see if you lose weight with that, I don’t recommend intuitive eating just yet, that’s good when you’re already at your goal weight. You may not like it but from what I can see in this video you are eating a little to much. Hope you’ll feel better soon. Also, not good to eat and sleep straight after.

Yeah I have been eating too much for sure. Anywhere from 500-1500 calorie surplus per week! I knew I was eating too much but calculated it and I'm surprised I'm nit gaining more weight. That's including exercise estimated burns too. I'm partial fasting at the moment for spiritual and health reasons, so I think that will reset my mindset with food a bit.

I too am in melb during this time and get really upset when i go to the creek for my walk/jogs and am suffocated by crowds, bike bells dinging at me, screaming children. its harder with fatigue/health issues - i have epilepsy and my medicine has caused many problems for me, fatigue and weight gain. Thank you so much for sharing what is a difficult experience, it has helped me feel less alone as i too "push through". xx

I don’t know if this will help any! But after doing the ab challenge for a bit i started noticing that I was getting bigger and I would cry and then I gave up cause I thought it was making me look worse. When I looked into it a couple weeks later - apparently it’s pretty common that this happens because your muscle under the fat gets bigger and it pushes the fat out more than it was before starting (which no one ever seems to talk about so you think that there is something wrong with you!!) I slowly started getting back into working out but still not as motivated because everyone else seems to loose weight after doing all types of different challenges.... 😔 but I am so sick of not being happy with myself so I have made a pact that I am not allowed to brake anymore promises that I’ve made to myself and I have to stick to things I start! Hopefully that works for me and I hope you can stick it out and see the results that you want as well💜
@ByeByeBelly
@ByeByeBelly 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks.. I'm determined not to give up but it's not fun at the moment! I'm definitely building muscle because my muscles are sooo sore. My shoulders, chest and biceps get a huge workout from this because of my body weight, doing push up positions. My abs are really stiff and sore too. I have far less back pain when I do this workout, which is weird because it really makes my back hurt when I'm doing it! But then I notice I don't get the pinching nerve pains much throughout each day, like at work or doing whatever. I hope you can get the results you want, don't give up! It's hard because working out makes you want to eat more and I think a lot of people are eating super low calorie while doing these challenges. Because I'm exhausted and do shift work, I find it hard to let myself go hungry and feel extra depleted...

@ByeByeBelly

Yeah, I've had past issues with it and big family history of thyroid autoimmune disease. I'm due to get checked again but been avoiding the doctor's clinics... There's sooo many people everywhere because less people are at work. I specifically have my days off on week days so that I can go for walks or do grocery shopping without hoards of people, so every day being like a Saturday is driving me a bit crazy haha. Even things like people/kids having parties on week nights and hearing music and more noise all the time... I just wish people could go back to work/school and this whole thing was over. First world problems though..

Well done for persevering. I get you. My life is almost dictated by the hormones, PCOS, PMDD... Nightmare. I lost 5kgs after 2 week shred challenge, but the moment I eased off (I still exercise every day and do 10000 steps every day, and still watch what and how much I'm eating) my weight it slowly creeping up. So I don't know what's going on. Keep going, I will too. It's got to pay off eventually, right?

That's really hard... I had polycystic ovaries as a teenager and I have many symptoms of it. My cycle has been regular for months but it's suddenly gone haywire now lol. I get a lot of pelvic pain, mood swings, migraines and the fluid retention... omg. But my issues are all at ovulation more than the period! Ovulation makes me miserable 😂 think my body struggles with the hormone transitions. Wow, 5 kg in 2 weeks??? That's crazy. Definitely easier to gain the fast weight loss back. I know how you feel though, it's really frustrating x

The only thing that has helped me lose weight is being meticulous with tracking. If you really want to get serious about losing, there's obviously something going on physically to where you have to be extra careful. I'm not saying that's what you SHOULD do, I'm just suggesting it as a way to know for sure how much you're consuming. Calculate your tdee based on a sedentary lifestyle and subtract 500 cals from that number. That'll be around a 1lb loss per week. Maybe try that for a month and see if it really works. And if it doesn't, at least you'll know you did the math and followed it to a T. And I know you prefer to eat a more balanced diet, but maybe try low carb as well. I hope you find what works for you! I know it's hard. I used to be 370lbs. I fought tooth and nail to get down to the 170s. Keto is what finally worked for me. I definitely believe there's a way out there for everyone, we just need to find it. Good luck! 🤗
@ByeByeBelly
@ByeByeBelly 4 жыл бұрын
Wow that's a huge loss, congratulations! I tried keto once but the "keto flu" stage never wore off and I started seeing stars and falling over. I'm not sure why because my glucose/insulin tests have always been okay, but my body just totally collapsed trying to do that. I was sooooo nauseous as well. I think I'm just intuitively eating maintenance calories so I'm not losing enough, and I keep getting massive fluid retention which seems to be hormonal. I think this gain is from fluid since my fingers are like sausages and my feet are like flippers, I'm so swollen lol. Since I quit alcohol, the swelling became really noticeable. I think I'm just maintaining in general, but the fluid adds 2 lbs on random days. It's so annoying! I definitely think I need to eat less calories (probably 250-300 less) and get my thyroid checked again. Bit it's hard when exhaustion makes me want to binge eat. Even just sticking to 1600 calories feels like such hard work...

I've been through a lot of job changes over the last few years. I got told to leave my other disability job as my fiance and I were working together which they frown upon, but I should have never agreed to go casual because it wasn't suitable for me at all and I ended up doing some shifts that seriously put me at risk and it was a year of huge stress. I was also working as a casual naturopath/nutritionist and clinical therapist in a highly superficial "medical spa" at the same time with an hour commute one way, and it all was far too much for me, so an opportunity came up to be permanent at a different disability house and I jumped on it for stability. It worked out well because it's less physical than some other sites and I work with good staff members who I get along with really well. I think my health issues would make any job hard, but dealing with intellectual disability behaviours noticeably wears us all out, even healthy people. Still, I do like my job and it pays super well for the weekend work. I'm going to start by dropping one of my sleepovers and see how I go. There are a lot of good points to my job Thank you 💛
