@@bronxbombers136 I wouldn't structure your program off of how Bauer does his but these are all good movement patterns to build foundational strength in. Like he said in the video, strength is a prerequisite for power, power is a prerequisite for speed

Hi Trevor, can you some day get into the mechanics on why today's MLB Pitchers are so different than MLB Pitchers were in the 50's 60's and 70's where they pitched so many more innings, complete games? Love your videos and hope you get back on the mound next Spring training!!
@ogkok1869
@ogkok1869 2 жыл бұрын
They threw more complete games simply because their stuff wasn’t as nasty as it is today, therefore not as hard on their shoulder/arm
@GenericBoringName428
@GenericBoringName428 10 ай бұрын
@@ogkok1869they also didn’t have as much money attached to them as they do today. Pitchers weren’t making $100 million dollars back then, so there was no incentive to coddle them like they do today.

I do not understand. I posted a comment here yesterday asking some questions, and last night it disappeared. Stuff like, is it just the GymAware interface Trevor likes best, or perhaps he has an opinion on the accelerometer (GymAware/VitruveFit/RepOne) vs linear encoder (Beast Sensor) battle.

What lifts did you base your strength on? Also, what were those strength numbers? How does an individual determine when their strength numbers are good enough to switch to a more power/speed workout schedule like you show here.

Make that Bondarchuk. Roughly speaking, you’re looking to get to these markers: 1.6x body weight on squat, 1.9x for deadlift, 0.9-1.0x for bench. Increases past that *will* transfer, but less and less and slower transfer time as well. For transfer to throwing, bench > deadlift > squat.
