I never thought about incorporating weighted negatives, that’s a really good idea! Because I’m kind of stuck at +35kg (50% of my bodyweight) for 3 reps right now, and I find it hard to break that plateau

Thanks man. I am same body weight as you and have been stuck at 25kg for a few months. You look really stable in the negative at the end. Is there a risk of having yoo much weight (i guess there must be as the reason you do them is because you cant do a full pull up at that weight) and injury here? How did you avoid it if so?

VERY good question. For me, I never did a negative that was over than 30% more than a CLEAN 1 rep max weighted pull up. so for example if my clean 1 rep max was 10 KGs, my max negative should be 13 KGs (10x1.3). I also kept the reps low - 1 or 2 reps with massive breaks between sets (4-5mins). This is the easiest way to police that I wasn't doing anything silly especially as my temperament would be to add as much weight as I could. hope this helps! 💪🏿

Im 14 rn and i weigh 110lbs and i just hit my weighted pull up 50% bodyweight 55lbs/25kg and i was so happy im checking other 50% bodyweight pull ups!

Took me 10-11 months to get to the straddle front lever and now is 1 years and 4 months I haven’t unlock the front lever yet my body weight is 190lbs someday I could straddle front lever for 5 secs for 2 sets and my max pull up for 1 rep is 90lbs . Do you think is possible for me to front lever I’m 5 ft 11 tall ?

I personally work in a low rep range (1-3 reps), but high sets - about minimum 6 sets 💪🏿

I personally have my first two sets with max weight for 3 reps then the rest is my working weight (about 90% of my max)

For me, weighted pullups come easy. I haven't been doing them long but just hit 62.5kg for 1rm at bw 83kg. What i struggle with is my pushing exercises. Can only 1rm 70kg OHP and only 2 clean reps of c2w hspu 😪

3:50, right shoulder is not pulled down as left shoulder. Scap pullups would improve it
