Seems to me if you are going to get a valve job on these and do some grinding and milling, just get the Renegades. If you're on a tighter budget and aren't going to spend extra, and just bolt them on, then I understand buying these.

Really interesting video, thank you for doing it. Impressive results also! Just a thought.. By the time you have paid for the valve job/skim and port clean up, or spent the time yourself, would you not be better off buying a set of Renegades for $800 more?

Why is is seats are always done in multible angle cuts vs ab actual nice smooth radius id think there would be cutters for that. It seems as if it would flow better than several transitional angles but then again i have zero knowledge or experience with this just wondering. Also whats better spending the money up front with ahe better AFR offerings like renegade competition heads with maybe even manufacturer cnc porting or a set of there budget offerings like Enforcers fully worked over by someone like you? Id think the price would be comparable and the better set would be USA castings but im referring to flow and all out performance not orgin of castings seem imported castings seem pretty good.

Do you mostly use a cartridge roll for shaping the intake and exhaust guide bosses inside the bowls? Thanks for a Great video and thanks for sharing on grinding techniques. Yeah you’re right about the direction of your shop door…Mine faces too the north.

No carbide burrs. It would take you forever with a cartridge roll to do it right.

“Never build a shop with the door to the north” to prevent wind intrusion is kinda misleading. It’s probably true in your area, but it will vary depending on your area. If you ever want to know which direction the prevailing winds in your area come from, look at a few nearby airports. Look for the ones with single runways. Airplanes land and takeoff into the wind with minimal crosswind whenever they can, so people who construct runways will look into what the prevailing winds are in the area they want to build and align their runways accordingly
