Yeah, most people are too young to understand most of the Jokes so it’s not a very funny reaction. They don’t get the Gilligans Island or Prince Song Jokes or Art Prices are insane is from a Commercial Called Crazy Eddie’s. Except they say our prices our insane. Let someone born in the 70’s like me react to this video. It would be a lot funnier since they would get all the jokes.

It is sad that you recognize the genius of Weird Al for the way he composes his parodies, yet you missed how insanely complex the "backwards" scene towards the end would've been to create. Weird Al had to literally learn how to reverse-annunciate each word as it would've been rapped forwards for that scene at the same time doing best to look natural walking/etc.

The Amish do know what they are missing. They are not completely removed from the communities where they live. So they do see all the modern technology on a regular basis. If fact, in some communities they even have a practice of sending youths out into the larger world for a year when they reach adulthood so they have to make the decision to forgo modern life and its conveniences for their traditional lifestyle.

Does texting create strong relationships and maintain morality? I am not an Amish, obviously, as I am on this computer, but I admire certain aspects of their society. They decided that progress was not all good. They chose a path forward for themselves, and even freely present their children with a time to go out into the world and choose for themselves. Of course I have seen things that turn me against their community, but I have seen those same things or worse in every community. Like many ideologies, I can respect their intention, but not necessarily their execution.
