The barn falling is a nod to silent film star Buster Keaton's Steamboat Bill Jr. (1928) when the front of a house falls on him. Also, can we take a minute to appreciate the fact that Al was singing/lip-syncing backwards for that last section so they could run the footage backwards?

It was 100% filmed with him walking backwards and singing it backwards (It's 100% possible to learn it in reverse), then played forward in post production.

06:15 to 06:32 - the amish are backwards to us, so his walk-through scene is taped as he is walking backwards and singing backwards then falls into the hay. In post-production it is reversed to make it look like he is walking correctly. Brilliant stuff!

Made a Japanese master of a dojo up here in Canada tickled pink when he saw me remove my shoes before stepping into the dojo. His granddaughter acted as interpreter between us. The first thing he said was, "Why did you take your shoes off?" I replied, "To leave them on would dishonor the dojo."

@Nicole Jessica The Amish had to fan out over the country to find more land. Their tradition is that all the sons grow up, get married, and start their own self-sufficient farm. The problem is that you need a LOT of land to farm self-sufficiently, like 20+ acres. And Amish have lots of kids. So 4 sons x 20 acres each, after 40-50 years you run out of land very quickly. That's why so many sew quilts or have cows for milk or make furniture. They don't have enough land to farm. There are big communities in New York State and Ohio too.
