Organizing and shooting a continuous shot is an incredible task. Pulling it off successfully like this is amazing.

Watch the movie "Russian Ark". The entire film was shot in one take. Not with trick shots like 1917, but really in one go.
@Eidlones3 жыл бұрын
This video would honestly be pretty simple to pull off. Might have had to redo it a few times cause some timings were off, but overall, this wouldn't be that difficult. There's no audio from the actual shoot, so it'd be no problem to have the camera guy with a mic, and all the actors have radios. "Ok, Jack? You got 5 seconds before I pull out of the elevator. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." Plus they all have the music playing, which in itself is a cue for when they need to come out.

@@Bobal27 I said the only place there COULD have been a cut was at the end of the jack black part....not that there WAS a cut. The phrasing is important.
@Bobal273 жыл бұрын
@@samsignorelli I’m quite aware of the import of your phrasing. The fact you called it “hard to tell,” means you looked hard, at least somewhat expecting evidence or otherwise. I asked if you honestly believed it wasn’t, I accused you of nothing. That harsh response confirmed my suspicions, that you don’t honestly disbelieve him outright, merely question everything, including Al. Sad, but respectable. My phrasing had significance, as well :p Since you seem to thoroughly cover your topics, enough to check for a cut in every frame one may have occurred, you should listen to “Rap God” by Eminem, or re-listen to it, but with a filter asking yourself if any lines sound like they could even be remotely referencing Al or their interaction (from 2003-2004, during a dark period in Em’s life, where I recently found out about him “knocking on Death’s door. I [f’ing] Ding-Dong-Ditched it”). It’ll blow your mind, if you’re as big of an Al fan as I’m guessing you are. If you want to come back and compare notes, that’d be fun. Hopefully you can catch some shots I didn’t, and I guarantee I’ve caught some nobody else has yet. I just dangled my participle in front of all of you, feel uncomfortable yet? Still dangling.

School of Rock is one of those movies I never get tired of. You can tell the role was written for Jack and those kids were awesome. As for Al, I've seen him in concert 3 times. The most recent was in 2019 when he played with a full orchestra. So much fun.

I heard a KZbinr describe JB as: A Really Really Good Singer and musician that acts and tries to sing like hes a BAD singer and musician but isnt good at playing that part . But tries so hard because he acts serious, LIKE he really is a Bad singer who THINKS he is good musician and singer. But in reality JB cant fake that he IS a good singer and musician .. WHEW!!!

I can understand finding Jack Black to be over the top, and I agree that early on, he definitely was. But I think if you watch "Kung Fu Panda"you might change your mind like I did. That movie was supposed to have an uphill battle with me since I'm not a fan of Jack or of classic martial arts movies in general. Yet I loved every single minute of KFP and its sequels (#2 more than #3, though they are both still fun movies). Give him a chance and see how you like it.
