If you want to clean drains, may I recommend LIDL own brand cola? Doesn't taste anything like cola. Doesn't smell like cola. Doesn't really resemble it in any way except being fizzy and brown. But for about 12 pence for 2 litres, it's one of the most cost effective drain cleaners you can get. Carbonated phosphoric acid works quite well.

hahaha, it's totally a gimmick, but at least it's funny. Their research using weird flavors helps them get better flavors for their normal drinks, so I think it's cool. No HFCS either, only cane sugar, which is always a plus. Pook365 Their business model is sort of like Jelly Belly with their Harry Potter Bertie Bot's jellybeans, yes there are gross ones, but as jokes, along with actually good tasting ones. So it's not horrible, just horrible tasting, like a parlor trick. They don't expect to make a decent profit from their gimmicks, though their cream soda and green apple soda I would replace my blood with :)

Oh, I remember seeing Lester's Fixins at Rocket Fizz. I think they're still around. (Obviously, "Rocket Piss" comes from Rocket Fizz directly. It's a chain of soda pop stores that also makes its own carbonated beverages. Lester's Fixins is one of their lines of bizarre sodas, which are hit-or-miss. Ashens, if you hate cream soda, you can try mixing some milk in. Over this end of the world, we have something called Cream Soda & Milk, in which the two items are mixed together (milk first) in a 1:1 ratio, or depending on the taste. You want something creamier and smoother add more milk, you want more sweetness then add more cream soda. You hate cream soda but I hope you don't hate milk. For people who hate milk it helps to choke down the milk, for people who hate cream soda... Why not try it? :P

We have a small, local, soda company here in Connecticut but I'll be damned if I can remember the company name, but they're famous here, and they make soda with cane sugar and natural flavors and they put out limited edition oddball flavored sodas each year and the amazing thing is that they always nail the flavor they're going for perfectly. They have a "Turkey dinner" one that they do for thanksgiving that really tastes like turkey, gravy, and cranberry and their Peanut Butter and Jelly actually DOES taste like peanut butter and jelly.
