I actually really love the idea of a class that, depending on the position of the sun, stars, and planets, they get access to a different set of spells and bonuses. Like when he said "a plague is coming" they could get poison and necrotic spells. During the night they get bonuses to certain checks, like the stars could grant you strength or awareness of your surroundings, or even knowledge about the area of events that took place there. They would have advanced navigation skills as well. They could focus their spells for increased range as well through their telescope. It could be like a mage cleric paladin mix, where they can call on the stars to do certain things. Idk how horoscopes work but imagine Sagittarius was in focus or something, what if they could call upon it to fire arrows at their targets, or with ares make people fight eachother. At very high levels maybe they could, a few times every full moon, change the position of the stars in the sky to make themselves get certain bonuses.

However… I could see logic behind an environmentalist mage, whose magic is based on the elements of the local environment. You'd cast a prophecy that would arrive in X turns, then in the meantime you could keep stacking additional prophecies on top of it, then when the time comes all your predicted effects would be applied at the same time. if jokes aside i think that such class would work like support who who would have luck related abilities such as : increase critical strike,s chance and demage, and even give critical strike chance to classes who normally does not have such thing such as mages bonus armor penetration(find the weak spots in armor) and increase succes rates all other effects of abilities that does not have 100% succes rate on it`s own and do reverse thing to enemies just nerding out

In the final boss fight against a powerfull Vampire he used his clerical powers to destroy the vampire (and burning himself to a crisp in the process). Astronomer actually is a peak-end mage class. Astronomer signature ability can deal most destructive damage and have massive AoE: "Horror-scope Words." But Rowan just subed that class w/o knowing Astronomer main stat ia Charisma, not Int. If Rowan reset his stat to full charisma, he can made even the Raidbosses believe in his foretold to condemn themself, lead to their selfdestruction.

Thank you so much for returning to the plushies! I didn't order the Eugene when I could because I always thought the "Epic" in "Epic NPC" meant that they were self-aware, and even Ben's Charles the Mugger was more self-aware than Eugene. I regretted it though, I would have really loved to have a Eugene plushie to see me through Covid. Here's hoping sometime in the future we will be gifted another shot at Eugene, as well as other, well-loved recurring characters.

Astrologer Exclusive Quests are incredibly difficult but are required to unlock the class' full potential. The Seven Temples of the Seven Planets and the Twelve Fortresses of the Zodiac must be completed to access supreme cosmic power. Completing the Temple of the Sun as a Vampire Astrologer gives you extra perks.
