-Guy prepares sensibly for plausible, typical emergencies like having to evacuate during a hurricane or a fire. -Gets called doomsday prepper. Damnit, Bloomberg. That's the reason why preppers are called nutjobs and accused as hoarders and causing shortages when it couldn't be further from the truth.

Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to learn about prepper survivalist news try Lonnonnar Survival Quickie (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my mate got great success with it.

If you've ever lived in hurricane country you are a prepper. There is no normalcy bias allowed during a hurricane because it has happened and will happen again. I grew up with bomb shelters dotting the neighborhood landscape in Florida. If the hurricane didn't get you the Cuban missiles might. There is nothing wrong with having bug out plans and shelter-in-place plans for any contingency.

May 24, 2021----Was going to elementary school at Homestead, Florida during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Dad was a jet engine mechanic at that base. As to hurricanes, only remember one, with Mom and us 5 kids huddled in the bathroom. Dad & other G.I.'s had taken the planes way up north.

He has what I think he calls a bug out bag, I call it a grab bag. I've had mine (one for each of the family) since my house burnt down 4 years ago. I began to move long lasting/dried/canned foods and other stuff to a lock up after the fire. I began buying army rations and equipment just in case. When covid began I was the only person who had food/toilet paper/soap. Luckily the shortages didn't last too long

Obvious emphasis on macro existence... i.e., what can be seen. Complete omission of micro... e.g., disinfection, filtration, prevention of disease, and what-to-do if someone in the family gets sick.

I haven’t used toilet paper for 12 years now because I have been in Asia and they taught me how to wash myself on the toilet! It’s simple you slide forward half way and use your left hand to pour about 4 cups of water down your upper crack and into your right hand and wash your anis! You then use soap and rinse wash your hands and soldier on! We currently use a sprayer to wash and again never use toilet paper! It’s very unhealthy to wipe because it isn’t clean and leaves acid on the anis!

This guy is not a crazy person like he's just got stuff prepared for an emergency it's not like he has an underground bunker which even that wouldn't necessarily make someone a crackpot either. There is a very plausible situation in which the "world could end." People during the Cold War and WW2 created bomb shelters. AI is going to change EVERYTHING. Ive been talking about AI since I was 16 and I'm 28 now. Nobody listened or considered my ideas of the importance of the abilities of AI and nobody really knew or cared to know what AI is. Now EVERYBODY is talking about AI and Im kind of mad about that cus I was talking about that stuff before it was "cool" or mainstream. I also can't tell everybody I told you so hahaha
