I'm half surprised the big collector's edition of Splinter Cell: Blacklist didn't make this - Paladin Multi-Mission Aircraft Edition: had a damn RC plane which was modeled after the huge cargo plane in the game, 88 page graphic novel, poster, game dlc stuffs and of course the game. I'm wanting to say it was like 300-400 but i'll be damned if it can't be had on eBay for 90 right now

There are actually 2 of the borderlands handsome collection claptraps, theres the normal yellow claptrap, and a grey dressed up version called the gentleman claptrap, i have both sitting next to me right now. Theyre pretty cool remote toys. The eye is actually a camera and you use your phone to control it and see through the camera, and it works on wifi.

I actually had the Seaman Edition Clear Dreamcast (approximately 50o were made if I recall correctly), unfortunately I lost it when my basement flooded :-( I had nearly every single limited edition Dreamcast console. Including the Biohazard Code Veronica Claire (Red 1541/1800) edition and the S.T.A.R.S Edition (Blue 141/200). These are much more sought after by collectors. I sold the STARS version and instantly regretted it, but so it goes, one day I'll buy it back. The rarest edition is the Gundam RX-78 (78 copies måde), and then some German paintbrush versions of which only 5 of each exist.

I know how you feel, I had bought an Atari Jaguar with controllers and the play cards for each game, 5 games including AvP and those little cards you need on the controller for each race.. I got it all for like $50 or $60 on Ebay back in 2008 or 2009? Guess what they are worth today.. JUST for the console. $500+ at least, that doesn't include the dang AvP game that is the holy gem. Man I felt dumb when I sold it to the local Pre-Played, I knew they would mark it up (though I bet not even as expensive as they're going for on Ebay today). Edit: Also my biggest fear is login all of my old game consoles (most don't work or don't have cables) and antique or important family heirlooms I have in the basement in a fire or a flood as I move from apartment to apartment over the years. I kept all of my things in a garage outside for about 5 years in one apartment, mice and rodents got into our garage and ate a lot of my stuff. I should have sued the landlord for that because she didn't care when I told her mice were getting into our garages.

I would like to see Collector's Edition Hardware. Consoles, controllers, keyboards, mice, player's guides, etc. That would be pretty cool. And, as someone that generally ONLY buys collector edition consoles, I know how expensive THIS hobby can be. I've definitely wasted a lot of money on these, but, the way that a lot of video game paraphernalia only appreciates in value, I think the long game will be worth it. Besides, who doesn't like to look up and see that God of War PS4 or their Halo Edition XBOX? Not to mention all my Zelda themed stuff, which is pretty much my overall aesthetic in my gameroom/office.
