Random info/comments - I'm sure you know the diesel heaters use a fair amount of electricity (for the fan, ignition and fuel pump) - you can drive onto the scale at a waste transfer station entrance to check you're not going over weight. My Sienna only takes about 1200lbs (plus 180lbs, the weight of the removed seats). It adds up very fast.

I was wondering if someone would point this out! You are so astute!! I realized this issue after posting the video… no powerbank = no heat. I have done no heat van life in two previous vans but I find that no heat leaves you in a state of survival 24/7. I will not be able to study if I am in survival mode. I do not know how I will solve this issue yet but I am thinking. Maybe I go ‘no heat’ and spend most of my time in the library to study. I don’t know. I dont think I can be cold again. I need a new plan it seems. I think my van can do only 1000 lbs and I am 300 of that! 😅😅😅 I am really going to try to keep it light and also look into upgrading my suspension in the future. I love that you brought all this up. It really helps me plan better. 🤗
