I was flying through Philly recently and an absolutely pure Amish couple was in the departure lounge with us. Full regalia--bonnet, dress, beard, hat, suspenders, boots. I feel like the girl playing the "straight man" in this skit makes the scene so much better. She's so genuine and helpful it makes the contrast between the 3 characters even funnier. I know if I was dealing with people like that in real life I would probably be answering their questions with a "are you serious, please don't waste my time" look on my face. Yeah, trying not to judge people as much cause I know it's bad. This clip is one of my favorites of Portlandia. Edit: straight in this dynamic is describing the comedic role of the supporting actor (blonde) whose "straight" or non-absurd persona provides color and contrast to the obviously weird duo. It does not relate to sexual preference... __smh__

There might be some people wondering about the dot matrix printer, yes they are old , yes they quality of the output is not even close to that of any modern printer but I can guarantee you they will last longer then any modern printer you have and if maintained well will probably outlive you.
