Weiser - Smartcode Installation

Great instruction I just installed the Weiser Smartcode Lock. Very good quality, this was to replace a 30 something old Weiser lock. Do the number on the pad light up at night cause mine doesn't. It's hard to see the numbers at night

I just changed my batteries and tried to reprogram, I followed the steps Press Lock insert batteries press program and enter the same code but all I get is 4 beeps and the light flashes 4 times. The manual locks work OK do you what the problem could be.

Thank you for the great content, But question here, in all places I have checked Weiser has Security Grade 2. Why in this video, you mentioned it is ANSI Grade 1?

When I try to put a new set of batteries following the manual I get a beep and a steady red light...I called support and they told me it was because the pad was not getting enough power and to change the batteries for another brand just in case the ones I got were defective. I just did it and it doesn't work, any suggestions?

Your lock may be in the upside down position. That happened to me when i was installing mines.

If the door swings the other way Can the keypad be on the other side?

What if your door is the opposite, my door is the reverse of this one with the outside piece and inside piece being on reverse sides ?

It should work both ways; Left Handed or Right Handed

I can't get my key to work. The key will not turn the deadbolt. Any suggestion? The key pad/electric lock works no problem.

It’s the rubbish smart key. You’ll have to buy a new cylinder

I'm on the step to set up the code but when I press the program button it doesn't do what is shown in the video. When I press program button instead of one long beep to indicate it's ready to set the code, it does 4 beeps with the first beep being longer than the rest. It then doesnt allow me to set any code. I have followed the steps and am not sure what I am doing wrong. Can anyone help?
