There is also a resort lodge sitting on the lake. You can rent a cabin or RV to rest in and they also offer boats, golf carts and fishing gear. It even has an awesome bar and grill on the property. It is a really old town but there is a new community (just past the Dollar General) that was built 3 years ago with really cute modern houses.
